Springville,#2REBUTTAL Individual responds
Tue, February 28, 2006
Its nice to have someone respond, since no one is giving me any suggestions or help with this issue. Thank you. I pretty much described as best as I could what I was told and what had happened. Pre-Paid, with all the legal eagle power, resources and much financial backing, cannot even refund my $30+ , that would really break the bank for them. It's irrelevant how pre-paid legal gives you false information, misleads you, all in a convincing star performance in order to sign you up. Once they have you nail, hook and sinker, they dont do anything for you. I had a labor dispute, all I was told repeatedly was to call the laber division. That is what I paid the memebership of so called legal assistance for. Well, I could have really figured that one out for myself and guess what? it would have been free. If that is the service they provide, sign you up for ID theft you never requested, charge you for it, push you into a contract of sorts and assign you a law firm that tells you to contact the labor board. Wow - that was a huge help, and something I would have never figured out myself. It is dispicable that they will not give me my money back in full. We are not talking hundereds of dollars, but I felt victimized and deceived and that is the point. Had I been smarter and not paid by debit card, we would not be discussing refunds. My credit card company would have issued pre-paid a chargeback without question - by the way a chargeback negatively impacts a merchants credit. since I have filed a complaint with the BBB and posted one here, nothing still has been done. Thank you pre-paid for all your help and I hope that you benefit from the $30.00 I paid and from ripping of other unsuspecting individuals.

What was the situation with the need for legal service. It sound like you were misinformed but I am just curious as to what you were told.
