I've had tons of tattoo work done by the owner of Precision Tattoo and so has my husband. We both have extremely large tattoo pieces and have been at Jim's location many many times over the years. The statement in the original ripoff report by Laura stated that the owner Jim was a truck driver - this is completely untrue, he is a tattooist and has been in business for many years. Precision Tattoo has also been featured in tattoo magazines as well as tattoo "trade" magazines (I should know, my own personal tattoo's are featured). I also have had several piercings done and haven't had any problems whatsoever. My best advise to anyone thinking of getting a piercing or tattoo is to do your homework before you jump into it and make your decision based on your own logic and personal perceptions. If I went into a "dirty shop" I certainly wouldn't get work done there-so why would you get pierced there to begin with if you found it to be so dirty? I have found that Precision Tattoo has always maintained a clean, healthy and sterile environment. As far as piercings and tattoos are concerned...you have to be extremely diligent in your hygiene habits as far as cleaning and maintaining the care of recently tattoo/pierced skin. I will at anytime advocate for Precision Tattoo's reputation, I am a professional individual in the health care business who practices intelligent decision making especially when it comes to my own body and the care of same. Precision Tattoo is fine, do people have reactions and/or problems, sure, you would anywhere, you can be allergic to specific colors of ink or have a bad reaction to a piercing because of improper care or even allergies to the jewelry used in the piercings. Just remember everyone...there are two sides to every story - personally I highly recommend Precision Tattoo!

Please do your research before you get any body modification. I'm am body piercer and I have seen countless amounts of just straight up b******* that people have done to their customers. I get people coming in all the time with barbells swollen into their tongues, rings too tight for their lips, nostril screws too short for their noses. You should know what to expect when you go to get pierced, and if something is happening that goes against what you have researched, or even if you get a funny feeling about something, stop what you're doing! Don't assume that these people know the right way to do their jobs.

Maybe it'll dissuade your daughter from getting any more piercings. Seems those things are as addictive as crack. It was my understanding that MD state law says that a minor cannot be pierced, other than ears, no matter what. Whether there's parental permission or not.
