On 3/13/03, I signed up on-line through Netflip for a trial membership with Premier Health. As a free gift for trying their services, they offered a certificate good for $25.00 of gasoline.

On 3/24/03, I received a pre-paid gas card selection form, serial #110110, asking me to choose a gasoline company to issue my free gasoline certificate. I did so and mailed the form back to them the next day (3/25/03).

On 4/10/03, I called Premier Health (1-800-547-6679) to cancel this trial membership and was told it was done. Unfortunately, I didn't make a note of who I spoke with.

Today (4/18/03), I did an internet search for Premier Health and found the business on this web site, along with all the complaints that had been logged. That prompted me to call Premier Health again to verify my trial membership cancellation - and it's a good thing I did!

After spending 22 minutes on hold with Premier Health this morning, I finally spoke with Onyx (ID #4472). She informed me that the only call she had on record was on 4/2/03 and that was from a gasoline company to verify my Premier Health membership for a $25.00 gas card.

I told her I had in my records that I did call on 4/10/03 and I still wanted to cancel my Premier Health trial membership. Onyx started detailing all the benefits of this membership and then asked if I didnt see all this in my membership packet. When I asked her What packet? she said shed get one right out to me. I again reiterated that I wanted to cancel my membership not receive more information about it.

Onyx finally stated that she just that minute cancelled my membership and that I should see a refund on one of my next two credit card statements. Now, as to whether or not that refund ever shows up is another matter but you can bet I'll be watching my credit card statements like a hawk since this company now has my account number!

So I guess I won't know anything for the next two months, while waiting on my credit card statements to come in. If a credit doesn't show by my June statement, I'll be more than ready to participate in any class action suit filed against this company.
