I bought an offer from this company on Angie's List, believing them to be reputable because they were on Angie's List. Almost immediately I received a call from them, telling me that they did not yet have a license for VA, but expected it soon. I told them it was not a problem because I didn't have approval from our HOA yet.
A few months later I contacted them for an update and received no response. I recently contacted them again, almost a year later, and was told I live too far away for them to honor their offer. They said they only do work in Fairfax County in VA. I do live in Fairfax County. They said I would have to figure out how to get a refund.
I've since done a deeper search regarding this company. They apparently have a habit of posting positive reviews that push complaints down and out of sight. They have several paragraph long complaints against anyone that asks them for reasonable accomodation when they don't honor commitments. Not once did I see an apology. In every instance it was Angie's Lists fault, or the customer. Premier never tookk accountability orresponsibility for their failure to honor agreements they entered into. If you want both quality and ethics, take your business elsewhere. (By the way, stay tuned for the belittling rant against me for this post.)

To those who may read this report. Premier HomePro was very pleased to be referred to Ms. Woodson. We offered to build her deck at a discounted rate. Ms. Woodson was asked to provide the following: A copy of her deck plans (received by her from Long Fence) a copy of her plat (so we could add the deck to it) and a copy of her Home Owner's Information. Ms. Woodson asked us to build the deck as rapidly as possible. She wanted to entertain guests over Labor Day weekend. Once we gathered all the necessary information, we ordered materials in accordance with the plans and started to build the deck. It was our belief that the deck permit would only take a few hours to be issued. To our surprise, Ms. Woodson's home, although located in Montgomery County, was located in Rockville City, where MC does not have jurisdiction. The plans review process is 2-3 weeks there (instead of 3 hours in Montgomery County). A stop work order was issued and the review process ensued. Ms. Woodson's deck permit was issued by the City of Rockville and the deck was built in accordance with the approved plans. It passed final inspection on September 16th. The entire process took 3 weeks. The deck is well constructed and built to plan. Here is a cut and paste email from Ms. Woodson. Clearly she loves our work. The only reason there was a delay was due to the Government Permit Process. We can all appreciate Ms. Woodson's comments, but we all know that the Government takes its time in making decisions sometimes and we are forced to wait. We are truly sorry that there was a delay. We stand by our work and our processes.
