I lost a car during the hurricane and went on line to look for a vehilce that io could easily afford as well as get pre financed for. I went to premier KIA after looking on line calling the online salesman and test drove several cars. i knew Iwould have to move due to the house damage and told the salesman that I would bring him a deposite provided he could get the financing. He called back said that it was all set and ready. I dont have a probalem with KIA as a car but I have been in private practice for many years and went with this car for cost and gas mileage. I say that becuase of the out come of the case. I signed the "purchase agreement" gave them the deposite and got the reciept as wellas paying for GAP ins and holding full coverage for the car. I drove off with the keys and the blessing of the dealership. I did not get a payment book;let in the mail but firgured it was a paper work issue so i start paying directly to citifinancial, the amount stated on the purchase agreemnt minus my down etc remeber I have all the resgitrastion INS and all new car documents. I send 6 months of payments to citifinancial to find out they were sold to santander. after 1.5 years I have been calling both the dealer and the finance companies to resovle the issue. After 2 years I heard a rumor that I was wanted on Autotheft, OMg so i call an atty and they will not talk to my atty. I was to turn my self in. For what? I bought a car. I feel like at best callme write me repo the car or place a civil judgement and I would pursue new financing. after not hearing anything i do look to pay the car off but NO ONE will take the money nor the car back. this car was lost and no one would take responsibilty for it. After 4 years I had a team of warrent officers come through the door take me out in cuffs in front of my family and put me in jail and take the car yes while we are holding all legal documents of a purchase. I spent 5 days in some of the worst spots in jail hire a lawer that did nothing for me at 7,500 then hire an wonderful atty Joe marrino ( the best) and push this to trail after 20,000 in legal and tarvel fees several hundered in lost wages lost business my case was dismissed with the dealer even showing up.
I lost two clinics months of wages and to this day I can not find out how that was ever grand theft auto. I would be carfeul ever doing business with any thing that has to do with this group and any dealer at all.

I wish we coul talk, I have filed a lawsuit toward hyundai/kia. A lawyer called today and said his company has never made a mistake in his years of working for them. You are proof. Thank You
