Premier Premium Communications Ripoff
I too have been a victim of what is obviously a scam perpetrated by PPC. I was billed by PPC to the tune of $60.00 for two 6 minute calls to a "Live Web Cams" site in the UK. I spent this weekend trading emails with someone at PPC named Tom (from reading the posts about PPC, I guess no one there has a surname). They gave me a cut and paste answer from their webpage about why I was being charged and basically threatened me with having my wife's credit adversely affected as a result of our not paying them the $60.00. After researching this "company" on the web (especially Ripoffreport), I am only one of many who has been victimized. Also in a call I placed to the New Hampshire Department of Justice, I learned from a gentleman there that my complaint was the sixth one he had received today from someone who was invoiced by PPC for the same type of problem. I have filed a complaint of mail fraud with the US Postal Service and a written complaint to the New Hampshire Dept of Justice. Just to be thorough, I will file compalints with the Federal Communications Commission, Federal Trade Commission and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. I am presently toying with the idea of notifying the news media in Bedford, NH. I know those consumer reporters drool over these types of stories. Lastly, I encourage anyone who has been victimized by PPC to notify any and all applicable government agencies and consumer groups about their "business" practices. I am interested in learning about others' experience with PPC.
