A little over six months after that comment was posted, the Dow Jones lost a record 777 points in one full day of trading. On September 29, 2008, the Dow lost 777 points. It appears that the Dow Jones is currently doing exactly what it was doing back in 2008 prior to the crash.

Today, March 10, 2011, at 3:37 PM ET, the Dow Jones is down 227 points.

Most people in the USA and around the world are being led to believe that the turbulence in Libya is resulting in higher oil prices, correct? However, the USA has been involved in a war in Afghanistan which has created turbulence for many years now, right?

Question: Why didn't the turbulence in Afghanistan, as a result of the USA's presence, move the price of oil higher?

P.S. The price of a barrel of oil has risen 300% since Christmas day, 2008. On December 25, 2008, oil closed at $35.18 a barrel. It is currently at $105.64 a barrel on March 8, 2011. Why is it that you cannot see what many others in this country see? It appears that the U.S. government is being controlled by a cartel of bankers, and others, who want to gain control of Afghanistan and Iraq so they can profit from the oil and minerals that lie beneath the ground in those countries.

You were elected to 'serve' the people of the USA, correct? I know that most of these bankers are people who live in the USA, but there are also another 310+ Million of us who live in this country too. It appears as though you have become completely alienated, just like the previous president. Some of us understand that U.S. presidents really work for the Federal Reserve, and the Federal Reserve ultimately controls Wall Street.

Can't you see that Wall Street is obviously manipulating the price of oil again? Are you watching what it's doing to gasoline prices and the price of food? Do you understand how Wall Street operates? It appears that you don't.
