PressPlay On Tour David Graham Waste of money, broken heart, dreams crushed, disappointment Nationwide
My daughter has been begging me to go to one of these events for over a year. She's a 15 year old teenage girl and I assumed that she would just get over it, everything is a phase these days for teens. When I asked her to make her Christmas list and all I saw was "Pressplay", I thought it was about time I finally said yes. She's a great kid and she would see plenty of her friends who don't live by her if she went. Also, I watch some of the talent's content and they seem like humble and like they love their fans. I did not know what pass to get her since all the passes say you get to meet all the talent, so I just went ahead and bought a Lyric Pass (I personally love them!) I booked the hotel and suprised her on Christmas morning.
The drive was about four hours and we got there Friday evening. She bought a ticket for the URL show and got VIP. VIP includes food and a t-shirt. The t-shirt was a large(my daughter is a small) and she told me there were no other options and she did not get any food, so I had to order room service for her. "It wasn't what I was expecting at all." My princess said with a sigh of disappointment. She's a very postive girl and I felt bad to see her upset, she's waited for this for so long. I reassured her it was a mistake and tomorrow will be fun.
The next day, at the actual event is when all hell broke lose. She only got 15 seconds with Jonah and Wes and was not able to meet everyone. Even Wes said it is stressful and unorganized. She waited in line for hours and only met 5 out of 15! My daughter is very easy going, and people were skipping ahead of her. My daughter was next in line and the talent left and said "I have to eat lunch" and there were only a few people in line. I understand they are only kids, maybe there needs to be a break set so they can eat lunch. I did not see David at all throughout the event to even complain. David also does not take crictism well AT ALL! He never apologized that it happened but blamed it on my daughter, who personally emailed him. He gets offended right away and reminds me of a teenage boy. Everyone makes mistakes, acknowledge your event is flawed. He is ready to fight rather than to admit he is in the wrong. There is no security or supervision.
This event is cheap. All he does is rents a ballroom in a hotel and gets a few blocks of rooms. Like a family reunion or something. It doesn't take rocket science to put it together
I am using a fake name because I am scared of David "exposing" me, as he fights on twitter with teenagers all day. Do not waste your money on this event, unless you want to be wiping away your kid's tears for days. Everything is not what it seems on social media.

Hi my name is Pati and my email address is taken2late @ aol I'm asking frannie please email me , I received an email from Dave accusing me of posting this post . And like his usual threatening ways he has threatening to contact his lawyer . He can contact Jesus Christ for all I care I was not the person that wrote that. But I must agree with you on why you have to use a fake name, my 15-year-old daughter commented on Twitter about his bullying and how he's no better than someone else and he thought it be a smart idea to post pictures along with your name to prove a point . Yes you read that right , He Posted Her Pictures along with her name. If any other parent has run into problems regarding this tour please email me for additional information.
