PRESTIGE MOVING & STORAGE is scam moving companies that will double your estimate!! WESTLAKE VILLAGE California
Prestige Moving & Storage is a scam moving company that offers low bid, then does a "bait and switch" with final number more then twice the estimate. Camila promised to keep the price she quoted - as soon as they picked up our stuff, we were told there would be an additional fee (more then double the estimate).
The 'estimator' came out and looked at all of our goods in our home and storage unit. We were provided a price, based on everything that she saw and we were told the price was 'bonded' at that price. When the crew arrived to load our stuff they immediately (AFTER LOADING) informed us we had roughly twice the amount of space we were told, hence twice the price. Under quoting by 50% is not a mistake. That is an intentional and malicious manipulation. We were also told us that our items would be delivered within 3 - 7 business days of our desired delivery date. Not true! The paperwork specifies they have 21 business days from the 'delivery date' to deliver items.
They ended up fulfilling that promise, barely. We received the majority of our items on the 20th business day. For a month we lived on microwave dinners, slept on an air mattress and lived in only one week's worth of clothing. We ate slept, read and worked on our laptops on the floor. We are missing several boxes and what we did receive significant damage.

We are really sorry, but this report is really confusing and vague. Our company provides professional moving services and we do stand by all our estimates, the abovementioned accusations do not apply to our practices and the claim probably was filed under the wrong company name. Please provide us with additional details so we can address any issues that may be outstanding. If this report applies to another carrier please remove it from your database. Thank you
