Priceline has so many deceptive practices it is a wonder they have not been shut down.

Frist, the website is difficult to read and even when you check off the name your price service the website sometimes brings you to the compare and shop which lists hotels at a price above the web price of most hotels. If you click on there which you pretty much have to since to go back brings you into a continuous loop,

2. When trying to rent a car, I went to the car companies and found lots of prices below the best price price-line will give you.

3. There is no way to get your money back, no appeal. Even when they agree that their site messed up they still will not give you a refund.

4. the customer service is sly and deceitful. They appear to answer your question but purposely miss the point. I had a dozen or so e-mails back and forth, every one was off the point. they told me again and again how to use the site and I reprted that i did exactly what they suggested and still ended up in the wrong place.

5. Do not use the rental car, if you try and name a price and they don't meet it, they ask you to change information, buut if you need a car at a particular time and date and place there is nothing to change. The only choice was to not complete the form, which they e-mail you back and act like you have already made a deal and forgot to click on their complete the form. If you try and reenter the site, they will act like this is a seperate request you could inadvertently add up ten or more requests. Finally, they start eliminating car rental categories, like you start out with a drop-down with compact-standard, mid-size etc. and if they can't meet your price they eliminate the category you tried, now you are in a window that is only one step from amking a deal and charging your card and you cannot select the right category. very frustrating.

I would be interested in anyone willing to do a class action suit. thir arrogance makes me very angry.
