Prime One Benefits fraudulent ripoff business New York New York
We were contacted by the company letting us know we could get a credit card through them, guaranteed. We authorized a debit on our credit card for $187.00.
We decided not to go through with the transaction, and cancelled the deal 2 weeks before they were due to take the money out of our account, per their agreement of termination. We then got 2 bounced check fees, because it was a Visa/Debit card attached to our checking account.
We contacted the company, immediately, who told us it must have been a computer error, that the cancellation did not go through in time to stop the transaction. The company said to wait until we received the info packet, then send it back to them with a letter of cancellation.
We have made over 60 phone calls to them to try to get a refund, which we still haven't received. We have made over $240.00 in international calls to them (it is the principal of the matter, now, not the money), and they still are making empty promises.
We want to make our story known, so this kind of scam does not proceed any further to any more "credit-challenged" people out there like ourselves. Thank you.
