Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
The service I have received from PrimeMail has gone from extremely poor to unacceptable.  I would wager they have been bought out and the new management has not a clue on how to adminster pharmacy services to sick people.  Using the service used to be relatively smooth and problem free.

Some of the changes I have observed:
1.  Having your doctor submit a legitimate prescription is not enough.  Now your prescription must be "activated."  To activate it, you must call them even if the prescription has been active for years.

2.  The turn around time has become horrendous.  And if they see any problems (like they called me to verify my name even though I had been doing business with them for at least 10 years before filling a presecription).  This further delays the your receipt of your prescription.

3.  Service reps are pleasant but are clueless as to what to do.  I had a prescription sent that was not delivered due to some problem with my address (again, they had sent many prescriptions to this address.  I call customer service and am told to call the post office bc "they probably have it."  Well, I have a big day at work tomorrow and without my medication, I will feel terrible.

4.  They show a complete lack of concern for customers.  I was in the hospital, a couple of hours before a major surgery and realized I ran out of a prescription (my fault).  I called PrimeMail, explained the situation and of course they could get me the med in about 48 hours if I paid for overnight delivery.  In most businesses, overnight means overnight.  You would think that with peoples' health on the line this sorry company would make every effort it could to provide for the medical needs of those on whom they are making a vast profit.

5.  I am a business professor and if people were not dependent on this company for their health needs, this company is so poorly managed they would not make it.  They have almost a monopoly throughout the southern states.

6.  They have made their website much more difficult to use in terms of obtaining information.  For example, you can no longer see how many refills you have left on a prescription or when it is to be refilled without having the prescription number (a pain).  You used to be able to sign in, see your ordering history, what you paid, orders that are due for a refills, orders that need a new prescription.  Now you are basically blocked unless you have the number and the number can change over different prescription cycles.

7.  I would not do business with this company if I had alternatives.

8.  I could go into much greater detail.

9.  By all means, avoid this sorry excuse for a company if at all possible.

10.  I know they have offices besides the Albuquerque fulfillment center.  Likely that they have a home office that is difficult to find.
