Primerica=not what they make it out to be. MLM CULT all around *UPDATE Thank you Rip-off Report*UPDATE: Primerica recognized by Rip-off Report a business opportunity well worth considering - it's not for everyone but many representatives make solid commission incomes. Primerica takes appropriate action against representatives conducting themselves improperly, pledges 100% commitment to customer service.
Acouple of weeks ago I lost my job....searching for new opportunities I was introduced to Primerica but a young lady who was a friend of another friend of mine. Open to anything I went.
This was the big scale meeting with the man over the entire hieracy there. I was so intrigued....hearing stories about Primerica had changed lives...seeing checks passed out for hundreds and thousands of dollars. Although I didnt have the money I decided I wanted in--when I said that I wouldnt have the money until later they told me in I was serious then I could get involved right now. And so I did.
From that point on I was caught up I did the FNA and although I should have noticed a red flag then when the gentleman even though knowing my circumstances was still trying to get me going on Life Insurance. i was literally getting by to make it through yet he still asked for my checkbook. At the time I didn't worry I said okay and I kept going.
Over the weeks I dealt with being shunned, extreme pressure to get my appointments in and to exploit family and friends in a quest to get them to buy the products and to come in. To the ppl at the top I wasnt nothing until I got the IBA and started to make the money to make them look good. I was stressed and at times would literally break down into tears. I began to questions their sales tatics and how they wanted you to bulid relationship for the sake of getting the sale. I felt as if I was exploiting my family and friends. At the meetings ppl would dwell on the NSD's every word, and RVP, an SVP. I will never forget Fast Track school---my hieracy treated it as if it was critical to be there and if you weren't you were completely. I literally sold my personal belongings to get there. Despite everything I was still desperate but I though I was just going through. At the dinner ppl were the same.....dwelling on every word.
Finally I had to sit back and think and needless to say I got the information and reflection not to get in. This place is like a cult and is truly an MLM. It has the potential to destroy everything...I am now in something that is legit and needless to say Primerica is no longer at part of my life.
