I was looking into getting more supplamental life insurance and I came across a Primerica Rep. He went on to tell me about how great Primerica was, and went on to regergitate what he learned at those Primerica "meetings".

I ended up buying a plan for 150k for $37.00 per month. I wrote them a check for the first month and gave them a voided out check for as the rep. put it, for "tracking purposes". This happened on 11-15-00.

I decided not to continue the policy and therefore I never paid them again...so I thought. I discovered just recently that Primerica Life has been taking $37.00 out of my checking account every month! After some research, I found it was the "voided out check" that allowed them to plunder my account.

I have called the AG office in Arizona and filed a complaint. I'm wondering about how many other people are aware of this. I consider myself to be aware and suspicious and I have a Master's degree...these guys are slick. Beware. Reconcile your bank statements.

I was with PFS for 15 years and as an EX-OWNER I think I may have some insight for all of you. PFS has been sued for a lot of things and has paid out a lot of money, However unless you know where to look you will not find any of it. They have had a class-action for not desclosing the cost of insurance after the first 20 years in the illustration and they paid. There is now a class-action from EX-NSD'S,SVP'S,RVP'S and Agent's. The class-action is for: DECEPTIVE TRADE PRACTICES,BREACH OF CONTRACT,RICO AND OTHERS. When PFS first started it may have been the rigth road however that road was left sometime back. If your an agent you have been told that your are building your own company, read your agreement's all the clients belong to PFS and the agents pay all the bills. At PFS the COMPANY CAN HAVE IT'S CAKE AND EAT IT TOO!!! If they LIE TO YOU, THEY WILL LIE TO THE CLIENT, in short you are emplyees with no benfits. Why has PFS gone from 250,00 agents to less than 80,000. The lapes are high, PFS is losing clients just as fast as they find them. (Look in am best) They resell more that 90% of the insurance (THEY ARE BUYING CHEAP INSURANCE and the agent sell it for more its called reinsurance) so they do not even pay the death benfit, they get it from someone else. LOOK in AM BEST. If you want to do the best job for the client you can, but not with PFS. The iusse is more than the insurance. best of luck, ERB4U

I haven't worked in a couple years but in 1999 I paid 78k in federal income tax. I guess that was the last year I "had room to talk." The word "deception" in it's various forms appear consistently in reports from people who have come in contact with Primerica. Just because your business is operating within the law doesn't make it ethical. My brother earned quite a bit of money selling products imported from South America. Yes he was breaking the law, but his customers never doubted his integrity. Hmm, come to think of it, his business was a much better example of an mlm than Mcdonalds. Anyway, big income, mlm, I guess that leaves him room to talk right? CAUSE THE $$$ IS WHAT MATTERS. I'm a bit slow most days and I'm sitting here wondering what the hell "tracking purposes" are but hey, I'm no financial analyst. I do know I'd be more than peeved at paying additional monies for a stop payment, and even more so if some items were returned for insufficient funds. Making a profit isn't a sin, but greed comes around and kicks you in the a*s every time.

:I WOULD SURE LIKE TO KNOW THE NAME OF THE AGENTS THAT YOU HAD MET WITH THAT YOUR EXPERIENCE WAS SO BAD. I bet you do! But they're my friends and family. YOU ALSO SAID EVERY FINANCIAL NEEDS ANALYSIS WAS DIFFERENT. MAYBE IT WAS BECAUSE YOU GAVE THEM DIFFERENT INFORMATION AND YOU ARE JUST NOT WILLING TO ADMIT TO IT. Get this Kendra! My principle balance on my mortgage changes. My income changes. My *AGE* changes from year to year. Of course they're different. But surely you've done enough FNAs to know that? How come PFS recommends having an FNA re-done annually if it's not going to change? I HAVE SEEN NOTHING BUT HEARSAY COME OUT OF YOUR STATEMENTS. By now I'm sure you've read that scanned-in proof of deception by Primerica and rationalized it in your own mind. YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT WHAT THE COMPANY IS ALL ABOUT ONLY WHAT YOU HAVE INTERPRETED. ...and seen with my eyes, heard with my ears, witnessed happen to my family and friends. And all YOU know about the company you heard at an MLM opportunity meeting. YOU NEED TO SPEAK ONLY ON WHAT YOU HAVE EXPERIENCED. I have. IF YOU HAVEN'T DONE ANY BUSINESS WITH THE COMPANY THEN HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT YOU HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF? LET'S SEE YOU EXPLAIN THAT ONE. They tried, Kendra. And I have proof that they tried. 'Let's see you explain that one.' ARE YOU MAKING OVER $300,OOO? IF YOU AREN'T THEN YOU HAVE NO ROOM TO TALK. Are you? Is your RVP? Is anyone in your office? What the he** is that arbitrary figure all about? Why are you listening to any of them? How come I have to make $300,000 a year to report deception and lies perpetrated by a company? Now everybody, ask yourself this: Kendra is a self-proclaimed Primerica success story, pulling in $100,000+ part-time. Read her posts and decided - do you want someone like her handling your money?

IF YOU DID SIGN A CARD WHEN THE POLICY WAS APPROVED AND DELIVERED THEN THAT IS WHY YOUR MONEY WAS BEING DEBITED FROM YOUR ACCOUNT EVERY MONTH IT IS BASICALLY SAYING THAT YOU WANT TO ACCEPT AND CONTINUE THE POLICY,EVEN IF YOU DON'T SIGN IT THE COMPANY SENDS YOU YOUR MONEY BACK. I HAVE DONE SEVERAL POLICIES AND THAT IS HOW IT HAS BEEN DONE.

some more rules

Here are some addendums to your rules - :1)A fact. Insurance agents have historically hated Primerica reps because we are right and they are wrong when it comes to helping people with the right income protection. You are wrong with that statement. Beyond the venom that you spew at opportunity meetings, a client can be well-served by a cash value policy. You are not unequivocally 'right' when it comes to insurance. Didn't you ever think the industry 'hates' you because your part-time financial hacks are replacing well-thought-out policies with your expensive term, by misleading comparisons and vitriolic statements about the agents that tried to help them? :They've tried to tell all kinds of lies to discredit the company. I think some of them are on this very web-site. You also have documented proof on this website that PFS misrepresents its products. :2)If any of you actually read and understood your cash value policy contract, you would understand why the "other" agents hate us for exposing the facts. The facts are clear. Term is NOT right 100% of the time, like you claim. People dislike your stance because you can't possibly serve customers, but you will sell them products in any case, whether it is right or not. :3)If there is a legitimate complaint and misrepresentation, hey, bring it to the court,Primerica! That is, unless you have something to hide. Perfect Primerica logic. Listen, in most cases, the person who uses the offending materials or misrepresented a Primerica product is a FAMILY MEMBER or FRIEND of the victim! Remember how you loot your agents' warm markets? That's what a warm market is - friends and family. I have documented proof of deception on behalf of Primerica, but since friends and family members were the ones duped into believing this garbage, I am not taking it to court. Besides, I feel I'm doing good by presenting this information to those thinking about doing business with or joining Primerica. Quite a few have seen through your lies before they went to a flopportunity meeting. :4)The web is nice, but it's too bad those who participate can't meet face to face. If anyone has an issue with Primerica in Southern California, come by and see me at the Anaheim branch (333 N. Wilshire). I have nothing to hide. By the way, don't come alone, make sure you have "truth" with you and information on the Primerica rep that did you wrong. What about if your sister companies, like Travelers, blatantly misrepresent one of their products in a letter? Should I still try to accuse the agent of wrongdoing? It sounds more like widespread deception by the company itself. But then again, that's the culture developed at Primerica.

Jimmy, It's terrible that you're caught in that predicament. I'm saddened by the Primerica representative's response to you--but it's par for the course for them lately. I think it's wonderful that he's so impressed by his trainer's lack of stuttering--I'm not. There are too many complaints about this company and where there's smoke, there's fire. File an ACH fraud complaint form with your bank. If you signed a contract with Primerica then you're obliged. Otherwise, cancel out of the deal. Good Luck The Fraud Chick

By your logic, pretty much this entire site wouldn't exist. New house falling apart? Blame the carpenters, not the builder. Pep Boys mess up your car? Blame the one mechanic, not the company. Raylene Van Worth psychic hotline defraud you? Blame the person answering the phone. It is the sheer volume of complaints that help determine the quality (or lack thereof) of a company. When companies like Primerica operate with a corporate culture that breeds deception, the employees naturally follow suit.

Hello: I have just finished my six training appointments with my Primerica trainer. In those six appointments we closed 4 term life sales and will follow-up for investment sales. In every single one of those 4 term life sales, I heard my trainer specifically explaining what the extra check was for. He specifically explained that it was to establish a monthly auto-payment from his checking account. There was no stutter or misunderstanding. I apologize if one of Primerica reps did not make it clear enough. If you feel the rep was less than honest, I would appreciate it if you would not judge the whole company by the rep's action. We are not all saints. I am 40 years old now and I have come across some less than honest people in dealing with companies, but I do not condemn the whole company for it, unless dishonesty was a part of company policy. Name one company in the world that is only made up of honest people?
