Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

This Co.sells very expensive capsules that supposedly help every kind of digestive problem known to man. They say it takes an average of 45 days to alleviate a problem. One average size bottle last a little over 30 days if you take them how they recommend. You must take them for sixty days before you can get your money back. This is where they make all their money. You need to purchase a second bottle(159.00) and they only refund the original order or bottle. Who's going to buy two bottles at the outstart when they're 159 dollars a pop? The product didn't help my condition and I'm out 159 dollars. If this Co. truly stood behind their product, they would give you a full refund!

Compliance is important for any treatment to work.

Two days would not even be long enough to evaluate a drug--and unlike drugs, the ingredients are harmless and designed to coordinate a healing process, rather than a short-term fix. Glycobiology research dates back at least to the mid-90s and relevant articles can be referenced on pubmed, using a search on acemannan (polymannose):

The company indicates up-front, before ordering, how much and for how long the capsules are to be taken, based on the condition. This is provided before the person orders, so they can order the full amount needed for the entire evaluation period in the initial order. That promotes compliance and an adequate time to evaluate, as well as assures the patient he has nothing to lose by following the full recommended regime. Either he ends up feeling better, in which case he does not need a refund and may even order more, OR he has given it the college try with no results and can get a refund for the ENTIRE trial period order. It's a win either way. I don't know a single doctor or pharmaceutical company that can compete with that.

As for the stomach ache, either the patient had buyer's remorse or the dose needed to be adjusted so that detoxification slowed. The latter was discussed in the information materials, in which they supplied a toll-free number to access free guidance.

These people bend over backward to supply information UP FRONT and it's their loss if they aren't able to help.

The complainant apparently did not read the reasons for the way the refund policy works, or is unfamiliar with how nutrients operate vs. the way drugs work. The conclusion about the supplement is premature at best and defamatory at worst. The conclusion about the company is entirely unfounded because their policy is clear and makes sense for those of us who know how supplements address repair and healing, which takes time, over a mere bandage approach. There is a free downloadable book, an estimate of treatment time and dosage according to condition, and a toll-free number to call for questions and guidance.

If a person doesn't like a policy, they should not order. There are good reasons for the policy that have to do with appropriate compliance and a commitment in exchange for the guarantee of a refund. If a person is not compliant, but still complains about the product, that isn't fair to the company. Unlike drugs, there is nothing harmful in it, so mild symptoms like a stomach ache may have been an indication the body was not able to handle detox readily, or, more likely, buyer's remorse. After all, the company is available toll-free to help.
