I requested a "free" credit report from Privacy Matters; with the stipulation that if I didn't call and cancel "membership" I would be billed at $14.95/mo. Membership was to include a monthly report sent to me notifying me of any change in my credit, or any inquiries into my credit report. I subscribed for one month, and called and cancelled. I just recently noticed, two months after I cancelled that they were still charging me for this service. I called to complain, and they said they would only cancel from this day forward, and would not refund me anything. I have had inquiries into my credit report, and Privacy Matters has not notified me in the past two months. They have not performed as they promised, and have ripped me off for almost $30. They are an unscrupulous company, and lack integrity.
