I used a one-time $4.95 reverse phone number lookup to find the name of a caller which had been sending me annoying text messages. This service worked (intellus.com) The fee of $4.95 really was about $6.50 when perhaps tax was added. I clearly remember ONLY purchasing a one-time $4.95 fee. We saw this fee (over $6) and that is OK, but we were hit with a $19.95 Premium membership fee. I complaied to Intellus.com by emailing them at [email protected] I received a response from [email protected] (a company which I had not contacted at ALL) It appears that intellus is also the same crooks as privacymattersidentity.com and privacymatters.com

They say they will cancel my membership (that I did not authorize) number

109087844 They also do not respond to you with an actual email but a form email, even though I communicated directly to them about the fraudulent charge

AT BEST they use deceptive tactics to make you sign up for the premium membership at $19.95 that you did not order. I have reported them to the FTC. I demand the refund of the $19.95.
