PFSN & Jared Shafer Las Vegas steal from seniors. Im the former legal clerk for family court judge Chuck Hoskin and Commissioner Jon W. Norheim. In my position as a legal clerk I personally witnessed serious corruption occurring in the Las Vegas family court.
My resignation came when the corruption struck home with the needless death and rip off of a father of a close friend of mine, Larry page who I attended school with in the past. Shafer, Hoskin and Norheim removed over $500,000 from the estate and left my fathers friend to die penniless in a Las Vegas home for indigent seniors. During my term as family court clerk I was invited to dinners where Jared Shafer Chuck Hoskin and Jon Norheim attended. Jared Shafer was the person who consistently got drunk and bragged about the criminal exploits of the group. When Shafer would drink his meal he would say horrible things about his senior clients and his wife, Clare Shafer.
During several conversations Shafer would refer to Clare Shafer as an ugly pig. He would say I have to make a lot of money so I wont have to look at that thing our LDS bishop arranged for me to marry. Mr. Shafer made derogatory comments about the seniors, which he acted as their fiduciary. He referred to one client as a fat hog, another as a blind bat, one man he called a retard and he said most of his clients would be better off dead. The others would laugh and on one occasion a Las Vegas call girl was called to hopefully change Jared Shafers bad mood. Unfortunately she failed when Jared Shafer tossed a drink in her face.
I personally witnessed at least $30,000,000 being stolen from seniors by this group. I contacted the FBI and the US. Department of Justice. Unfortunately Senator Harry Reid was able to block the investigations from taking place.
Ive had time to reflect upon why this corruption is allowed to operate unchecked in the Las Vegas legal system. The general population looks for corruption in places where the public officials are celebrities, for example senators or congress people. Mr. Shafer was the former public guardian for Clark County and Jon W. Norheim is a family court commissioner. Both posts are not significant in a governmental hierarchy.
What most people do not understand is in those little political positions the majority of the corruption occurs. These small political hacks contribute a portion of their gains to officials at the top of the political food chain in the form of campaign contributions. Read a Los Angeles times story published in 2006 entitled Juice Verses Justice. After reading this newspaper story you will have a clear understanding of what senior citizens and their families face when they seek justice in Nevadas corrupt courts. The times documented the criminal activity as a normal practice in Las Vegas courts. Since 2006 the corruption has grown and strong evidence shows Nevadas attorney General Ms. Masto and Senator Harry Reid are directly involved. Reid and Masto have realized this area of the law is highly lucrative, especially when unsuspecting families dont know the rules of the game.
Officials at the top of the food chain, including Reid and Masto encourage those at the bottom, I.E, Jared E Shafer to commit the actual crimes. The leaders at the top earn their money by covering up the stealing made by this polluted subculture. Several reporters have confirmed off the record, their fear of printing stories about the actual corruption taking place in Las Vegas. In several restaurants frequented by known mob figures it is a common joke to wonder how certain people remain alive for fighting this destructive system. The comments are made to intimidate any future reporter who may choose to write about the long standing Las Vegas corruption. The key is to prevent these reporters from naming the actual people who steal or distribute the ill gotten gains.
Jared E Shafer is a cornerstone figure in this corruption. If he is prosecuted the dominos will fall. Until this event occurs seniors who plan to move to Nevada need to select another destination where they can retire in peace.
