Professional Fishing & Archery decided I needed a smaller battery for my boat and won't exchange it for one larger Ripoff Harrison Township Michigan
On May 1st I went to my local fishing supply store to purchase a battery, I have been doing business there for 6 years (and 2 owners), the current owner and and another employee were working the shop that day installing new register software, usually its just an employee.
I walked in and informed them I needed a marine battery for my boat as mine was having problems starting the engine, the employee walked me over to your very nice display and I picked out a 79.00 model just a step up from the starter size, we took that to the register and began to ring up .The owner interrupted and told him I didn't need that much power for my 19" Boat and to get me a starter (Nautilus ENC24 Marine battery) I reminded him I ran some electronics such as a depth/fish finder while drift fishing and he said it would be fine. I thanked him for watching out for me and paid.
My friend Jim was with me during the purchase and thought I got a good deal. They were very helpful
We went back to the boat and guess what? Not enough power! I turn on the blower & try to start the boat and it takes several tries to start, I'm afraid to go out.
I like to run a fish/depth finder while I drift fish but am worried the battery power will not be enough and I will get stuck
I called the marina today, 3 days after the purchase and discussed upgrading to the original choice with the employee, He quickly returned my call to tell me in the end I chose it and since I had hooked it to the boat I was stuck with it. I understood it to have a guarantee but now I'm stuck with it? I tried to buy the more powerful battery and he talked me out of it, I'm angry

12 volts is 12 volts, if your blower drags the battery something else is wrong, IMO.
