There are hundreds upon hundreds of companies that do this. Its those same people who send your office tons of "junk faxes" for free trips and such. Watch out for these working in an office i've had much experience here. The person who calls will be very personable and you will think she either works with you or is one of your vendors. I recently had a lady named "Jane" call and just simply say, "Hey Steve, It's Jane, I just need to know what model copier WE have so I can replace the toner." Thinking because were a corporation I would not know there was no Jane there, and simply give her the info and she would fax a bill. They will use any way necessary to get a bill on your purchasing departments desk, hoping you'll miss it and just pay for it. Easiest way to handle this is to 1. if you accept the order, refuse it from the delivery service that brings it. and 2. call your credit card company to dispute the claim. Your credit card company will go to bat for you. Call the company NOW and ask for sara let her know what you think of her practices then ask for a manager is she refuses to give you one, call back and ask whoever answers for the sales manager or owner.
