Progressive Office Products said they were our usual suppliers & convinced me to order more at a discounted rate Ripoff Covina California
First of all this company called our office three different times in one day, each time with a different representative making the same pitch. "The price of the toner your company usually orders has risen and we forgot to tell you so we'll sell you one more at the old rate." The company told me they were our usual suppliers of the product, when in actuality, they have never supplied us with the product as we get it for free from a different company we already have a contract with. I finally said maybe and the company faxed me an authorization sheet to sign. After I received the fax, a representative from Progressive Office Products called me 2-3 times more throughout the day urging me to sign the authorization and fax it back. What neither the representative nor the authorization form mentioned was that signing the authorization form authorized them to not allow the product to be returned. Also, the shipping costs were about $50 (strangely about the same amount as the originally proposed discount was supposed to be for).
