Providian Bank & NSS Magazine deceptive company Arlington Texas
Rip off from Bank that has tied with the NSS.
Please send this message out to people who deals with Providian Bank and NSS magazine. This is my story ( happening between December 2001 and now),
I was in impression of the Providian, my credit card issuer has business that offer free trial magazine for two months, as they stated on the back of the bank statement which I received in October 2001. In short,
I have been charged US$194.00 on 12/24/01 for magazine which I cancelled it already. So I contacted NSS, luckily they refunded me on
1/25/02. I was very disappointed with the way Providian conduct the business. Because I still need to bear the interest charge for it. So I canceled my account with Providian on 1/23/02.
Even my credit card account was canceled, Providian still send me new statement for US194.00 that is debited to my account on 2/16/02, and that
I have to pay again for US194.00 from NSS magazine plus interest.
You see, the sales was cancelled two months already, Providian bank still accepts the same sales strip and debt to my account which was also closed. I can feel if any one have business with Providian bank they will stuck badly as you can see I am an example. Bad luck to deal with Providian Bank!!!
