Provost Academy South Carolina Doesn't Respond To or Accept Applicants Columbia South Carolina
This online school is an absolute joke!!! I can not believe I spent nearly 2-3 weeks applying for this school and they haven't even gave me a bit of attention or updated me on my acceptance!
I filled out the application on their website. Then I had to send them my documents (ex. birth certificate, immunization records). After I emailed them, a woman on chat support by the name of Michele said she would send them over to the enrollment office that same day (weird b/c I thought it automatically goes to them). She said someone will call me by the end of the week (it was currently Tuesday) and let me know if I got accepted.
Friday came along and I never got a call or email from them. I'm running out of time b/c the 1st semester started nearly 3 months ago. They are so unprofessional. I called the enrollment office Friday and no one answer despite Michele telling me they were open. They don't close until 6 o'clock, but I called at 5 and voicemail picked up.
It's absolutely ridicoulous to hold someone back from trying to apply and get an education. They should respond like any normal school would. Also their website isn't even verified, meaning your info could potentially be hacked & stolen.
Avoid this school if you can & go to Connection Academy or K12.

Update: My mom eventually called the school to ask about the status of my enrollment. The woman on the phone then asked to speak to me instead (?). When I answered she immediately started YELLING at me and being absolutely disrespectful. She even told me that "me and my mom were making her feel like she was running in circles." Those were her exact words. I don't know what else to say about this unprofessional school. I have NEVER EVER had a school offical talk to me the way she did. I will be sure to call back later and proceed to get her penalized or better yet - fired.
All she had to simply say was "no you are not enrolled in this school." But instead she wants to go on and on and on about how I shouldn't have done this or that. It was unnessary. I am 99% sure she wouldn't talk to any other student that way. I notice she barely raised her voice at my mother. But I will be contacting them again about her attitude. You shouldn't ever talk to a student the way she did.
