Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Just moved to Arizona and needed a storage unit.  Public Storage was thought to be a good choice, until I met Manager Eldon at this location.  His dry personal quality doesnt care about his clients and if I wasn't so tired from the move I would of gone to another storage business.  As we moved in the lock would not work, so Manger Eldon replaces lock and drops the keys on the floor next to our unit and leaves for the day.  Its a hot day (welcome to AZ) and we just brush the little things off as our issue due to all the stress of moving and working in the heat.  Getting to the point of my complaint, we lost our keys that very night.  Our fault, so we call and another employee states that they should have a key to help us open it up, but nothing was in our file.  According to Manager Eldon, this was not true.  We need to sign a form for a district manager to address this issue and cut locks.  These are not typical locks like a master lock to be cut with bolt cutters.  These locks are built in and custom to the Public Storage business.  Since we do not live in the area, we ask if they can send us an e-form to give permission to cut and replace locks.  NO.  They do not use any form electronically.  They are a tree killing company that has no computer skills to adapt to the modern age.  We have been waiting for a distric manager for a week and told he may be here on a Monday (Labor Day), but he can not confirm.  So, no e-form, no distric manager, and no interest in helping us solve a simple mistake.  I am sure we are not the first to lose a key and with it being there design of locks will cost us more with a lock smith than the average lock.  Who wants to do business with a company that will not bend to help resolve a simple matter.  So, as a customer who does not live in the immediate area I was told to drive and sign in person.  This is not my only storage unit and find it difficult for a nationwide company that need to have in person paperwork signed and to wait there until the district manager shows up (if he shows up and on a holiday).  According to Manager Eldon THIS IS Public Storage policy and not his.  Right, so thanks for not helping and I will purchase a locksmith and leave your company to never return.
