Well my girlfriend and I went to Putt Putt cars to purchase a car so we would have some transportation so I could work. I test drove a 94 Eagle talon about 3 or 4 times before I purchased it on May 31, 2002. I drove it about 5 miles down the road to a friends house and when I got out and looked at the car I noticed that it leaked something that I thought was water. I got the leaking to stop before I drove it home it drove fine all the way home which is in Gilbert. Mind you I just purchased the car and it was already leakeing. I purchased it around 6'o clock that evening.

Well the next morning around 10 am my girlfriend and I got our daughter in the car and we went to head back out to Putt Putt to pay some more money that we recieved. About 10 miles away from our house the car started over heating. It died on us a few times before I got it to a gas station. By the time I got it there the car was over heating and somking. When I looked under the hood there was fluid everywhere but when I checked to see if it needed water it didn't. I was able to drive it down the road about one mile to my grandmothers house. The car had water in it so I didn't understand why it was doing what it was doing.

We called Putt Putt immeditaly and they said they couldn't do anything till the head corporate manager was in and that wasen't till Tuesday. Well that day was a Saturday so the car sat there from Satureday morning till Monday when we got it towed to our house. Putt Putt told us all we can do right now is tow it to their macanic and have them look at it and they will talk to Putt Putt about it.

Well we towed it there to AJ's Auto Care and waited for the manager at Putt Putt to call us about something. It took them 4 hours to get banck to us and the car had a blown gasget. And they are trying to say that we ran the car out of water to make it over heat and blow the gasget. we were like we haven't didn't even have the car for more then 16 hours and it did that. Then the manager at Putt Putt said that we may have to pay half of a so far $750 bill to fix it..

Some how we think that we don't have to. Doesn't this fall under the LEMON LAW. We want our down payment back or they need to give us a different car. Now I have to cut back hours at work cause I have no car and we need the money to pay things. Also what is stupid is our first car payment is due on June 14 and they aren't even starting on the car till June 11. We won't even have a car to drive that we have to pay for. Please someone try and help us!!!!!!!!!
