I have contacted the dealership thru friend who leased a Toyota Camry from them with a $249 per month all included payment and zero drive off. I called and spoke to Hugo who identified himself as the sales manager and confirm that the deal can be offered to me as well. I gave him my friend's name and he asked me to call back in 10 minutes and he will confirm the deal.

I called and he confirmed. I asked him THREE times to be sure because I have to drive 140 miles round trip to get the car. He confirmed and said come on down and I will have the car ready. I am a type 1 diabetic and had to eat dinner while driving to get there on time. Hugo welcomed me and made me wait about 10 minutes while he was walking around.

After waiting I asked to drive the car while they are preparing the PPW. We took a very short test drive. Suddenly he came to me trying to explain how a different car trim is actually a better deal with a higher payment and $909 down. I got upset reminding him how he confirmed the numbers over the phone before I came and demanded the deal he agreed to over the phone. Suddenly his manager showed up and I found out that Hugo actually lied about being the sales manager. The actual manager tried to push me into a car I didn't want and said they can't honor the quote they confirmed on the on the phone. I got mad and said I will complain as this was not right, I drove so far so late in the evening to find out I was lied to and got my time wasted, Hugo told me to my face that their policy is not to take anyone seriously on the phone but to try and get them to come in.

The next day I called Larry Tuff the Customer Relations Manager and explain what happened. He said he will look into it and call me. About three hours later I got a call from Larry and he said it is basically my fault that I didn't get the car because I refused the deal they offered me. He wouldn't listen to me and yelled at most of the time. I said I will contact Consumer Affairs and report your sales practice and his response was, wooooo.. They got me scared.. I will give them my side and they will close it the complaint.

I am furious at these guys, they lied to me on the phone and to my face, and they would not honor their quote and treated me as a disturbance and not as a customer. The guy that's supposed to provide customer service yelled at me and wouldn't even listen to my problem. And the worst part is that up until now, none of them even tried to apologize and make it right. If I would get and apology saying that they thought they can make it happen but they were wrong I would of understood but nothing, instead I get yelled at by the Customer Relations Manager saying it my fault.

9 minute 34 second video on the web, okay?

There was a Toyota Camry that ended up in the ocean, and the passenger died as a result of the accident. The driver survived and said the Camry accelerated on its own.

There's also a Toyota Prius that crashed, and ended up in a Colorado river, that can be seen in the video. The owner survived and said that the Toyota Prius suddenly accelerated without her foot near the accelerator pedal.

I believe there was a Toyota Highlander in the video too. The owner said it suddenly accelerated when they were on the highway.

Make sure to watch the entire video and you'll also see the crash when a Lexus apparently accelerated out of control and all four people in the Lexus were killed, okay?

Karl, the problem you have insisted upon mentioning in EVERY rebutal regarding toyota was actually adressed by toyota. I am not sure why you insist on bad mouthing a company who creates a wonderful product, but you trulyneed to find something better to do with your car. I had a toyota which ran from 1992 until 2011. i am sure you have a personal problem with Toyota but truly your comments have nothing to do with the consumer complaint and need to be looked at as spam, and a self fufilling agenda to mad mouth a company. Please find something better to do with your time.

CONTACTING Rod Blagojevich, the Governor of Illinois, about corruption by one of his close political friends, or one of the businesses that donated money to his campaign, in my opinion!!! SIMPLY EXPOSE TOYOTA ALL OVER THE WORLDWIDE WEB! I'm Karl, and I approve this Update! P.S. Maybe we can contact Bernie Madoff about any new Ponzi schemes that arise in the USA, huh???? WELCOME TO AMERICA- IN FRAUD WE TRUST!

When we had a problem with a local dealers service dept (padding bills, charging for services not completed, then charging again to complete them, talked down to etc) - we complained to the corporate offices and they resolved the problem the same day. Our money was refunded on the extra charges. I don't guarantee that they will do the same for you, however each dealership is independently owned - but they still have to report to corporate at some point.

IS CONSIDERING 'LEASING' a vehicle in the USA! In order to figure out what INTEREST RATE you are being charged for the LEASE, simply do this- 1) Ask them what the 'MONEY FACTOR' is that you are being charged. 2) Always multiply the MONEY FACTOR by 2,400 to figure out the INTEREST RATE. Example: If the MONEY FACTOR for your lease is .0050, then multiply it times 2,400. So, .0050 x 2,400 = 12% 3) Ask them what the 'BUY RATE' was. You can qualify for the BUY RATE at every tier! So, if you are charged .0050, but the BUY RATE was .0040, then you were CHARGED 12% on your lease. However, you could have gotten the .0040 MONEY FACTOR which is 9.6% on your lease!!! The Dealer made the DIFFERENCE of 2.4% on your lease over the 36 months, or 48 months! 4) Have them PRINT OUT a copy on their COMPUTER that shows all of this to you! NEVER TRUST ANYTHING that is written in SHARPEE, or MAGIC MARKER, or PEN, or PENCIL! If they won't print out a copy from their computer, then get up and LEAVE IMMEDIATELY! I'm Karl, and I approve this Update!

CREDIT APPLICATIONS WERE ALTERED, and WHOSE PAYMENTS ARE MUCH HIGHER THAN THEY SHOULD BE, because they were LIED TO by the Toyota Dealership's SALESMEN, SALES MANAGERS, & FINANCE MANAGERS! There are many Toyota customers who could have EXTENDED WARRANTIES in their loans, and other things, that they DON'T EVEN KNOW ABOUT!!!! Imagine that? You were lucky! Go get a Honda instead! If you 'GOOGLE' this- ENGINE SLUDGE, then...... you can go to the consumeraffairs website and read all the Toyota Engine Problems, and then click on 'Airbags' and read those complaints too! TOYOTA VEHICLES are NOT what people have been led to believe! TOYOTA VEHICLES are SLUDGING, and many have DEFECTIVE PARTS! Some of these DEFECTIVE PARTS are obviously AIRBAGS, AIRBAG SENSORS, and other SAFETY PARTS, wouldn't you agree? 'GOOGLE' this- SUIT: DEFECT REPORTS ALTERED TOYOTA PLANT, and scroll down to the LAWSUIT by a Toyota AUDITOR, Katy Cameron, who said that REPORTS were being ALTERED! It's the Article about a 'TOYOTA & GM PLANT'. Read it!!!!!!! Toyota's QUALITY is NO LONGER THERE!!! TOYOTA CORPORATION is no different than CHRYSLER! TOYOTA has simply been able to FOOL most people in the USA, & around the world, for many years! GUESS WHAT? Many people now understand the TRUTH, correct?
