I bought a computer Component in an online Auction on UBID.com and then 3 months later I noticed an $8.95 charge to my credit card that was made by Questsavers.com. I didn't recognize the charge so I investigated further and found they had been charging me for the last 3 months. The charges started right after I purchased the computer equipment from ubid.com. Well, realizing that I had never purchased anything from questsavers.com I gave them a call and asked them why they had been charging my credit card for the last 3 months. I COULD NOT BELIEVE THE RESPONSE! They told me that I had purchased something on Ubid.com and the company that I had bought from forwarded my credit card information to them and that they had OPENED AN ACCOUNT IN MY NAME, WITHOUT MY CONSENT. I told them to cancel this account IMMEDIATELY and to REFUND my money. They said they would cancel my account but would NOT refund my money. I told them I was going to report it to my credit card company as FRAUD and I hung up and did just that. Questsavers.com is a company that provides travel discounts and pharmacy discounts and is in a startup mode. They are trying to gain customers any way that they can and will obviously go to any length, including fraud. BE WARNED, DO NOT USE QUESTSAVERS.COM FOR ANY REASON. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF. Sara, there must be someone higher up in your company that knows what they are doing. If this is a starup business, then WHY don't they ADVERTISE like NORMAL business's have done for YEARS and YEARS, with success.....IF they are a legit company.....Tacking on these "benefit" "trail packages" is a SCAM.....NO MATTER how you cut the cake, it is VERY decieving, and sneaky way to get customers, but more important it is a sneaky way for SOMEONE to get money in their pockets! Go after your customers the RIGHT WAY, NOT through Ubid, or any other company, do it yourselves! I DO have you on my list of scam companies, and you will remain there.

we are not a fraudulent company

Many times we get these complaints from customers. Well every time they order another product from another company we do not buy there credit card info. What happens is there is a 30 day trial membership offered with our services. all of our business partners are required to tape there sales calls to ensure that if need be we can pull the tape if there is any question about the enrollment. we are not a fraudulent company, however sometimes there are cases where another company does send a membership through that is not valid, and after being researched if the membership was not accepted than we are more than happy to refund all the money and will then take action with the other company. also each month on the monthly statement our phone number is provided so that if there is any question about the charge you can contact us directly and we will get this taken care of promptly.
