I just wanted to post my own comment on this site. As a consumer, I read a few reviews from time to time about what I buy and what I don't buy. It's common nature to want to look over things and review them before making a decision. I went ahead and read this review but as a consumer and IT professional it didn't really add up to me.
My first question to you, is why did you purchase a course for Server 2003 in 2011? I'm going to go with a guess that you probably did this years ago and tried to come back for a refund on something you never used. I've been working in the industry for about 15 years and I looked into Quickcert when my company told me that I needed to be MCITP Server 2008 Certified. Now, I shopped around a little before I made a phone call and on my first attempt I actually sent in my wife to do a little recon for me. She spoke to a sales rep and he showed her the product. She was impressed and called me and had me look at the site that I was referred to. Comparing this to a couple of other vendors, Quickcert had a live lab where I could work online with a real server.
I decided to call the company and spoke to a representative named Richard. He presented everything to me and included another program where I can watch some live classes and speak to an instructor. He gave me a price of $1600 and I thought that was a little high and told him I wanted to look a lilttle. He kept me on the phone for a few minutes but I went ahead and looked around a little bit. Two days later, I called Rich back and bought the program. I guess what sold me on it were two things: Nobody offered what he offered and at the end of the day and he was just honest to me about everything. It took me about 10 weeks, but I became certified and it all worked out in the end.
The reason that I took a minute to post something is because last week I referred somebody to Quickcert and they called me about these postings. I just wanted to take a couple minutes to stand up for a company that delivered everything it promised and came through. Too many people don't take enough time to make a positive comment about something and hopefully this will help a few people make a proper decision towards utilizing this training company.
