Quicken Loans LIARS LIARS LIARS!! Troy Michigan
I just happen to be browsing the internet when I found this sight and let me tell you I was estactic when I found it. I am a former employee of Quicken and let me tell you my story....I applied online for a job with them and not even ten minutes later I got a call back from a rep telling me how interested they were in my application, the girl went on to tell me all about the position and let me tell you I was really excited! What a joke! I should have realized when I went throught my interviews and they asked some pretty creepy questions that this was not for me but I decided to give it a try. The training was a joke the girl that conducted the class was an idiot and was always late, I did not feel that I learned much and voiced my concern about this but they told me not to worry I would be fine. I guess you could say they sold me the American dream. Boy was I wrong! After graduation I was handed a headset and was put on the floor immeadiatly, this was crazy I knew I was selling these people a line of crap and refused to do it at first untill I realized my managers or what they call team leaders were listening in, they pretty much told me that either I followed the script or I was let go. Whatever! These people were phonies from the get go. Now lets talk hours, they never told me that I was required to be there from eight in the morning till eight at night with NO I repeat NO lunch break. Are you kidding me no lunch break? I had never heard of this in my life. I was also told as a smoker I was only allowed to smoke breaks a day and that was pushing it. I can honestly say I felt like a prisoner in that cubicle. The last straw was only 3 months after being out on the floor I was told I either get 10 loans that month or I would be let go. Huh? Didnt I just start? This was pretty much impossible due to the economy but whatever. So, the end of the month came and I only had six loans they called me in for a meeting and was told they would be laying me off, now I am not stupid they did this so they did not have to pay me unemployment but my response was you either fire me or I am going back to my desk. They fired me that day and let me tell you skipped the whole way to my car smiling I was finally free of that hell hole!! The only thing was I did not recieve all my personal belongings back and have called many times but somehow they seemed to be gone. For anyone even thinking about a job there think twice things are not as they seem. I can honestly say that was the worst job I ever had!!!!!

Its sad to hear what happen to you and the truth of the matter is you are about right on. You will be required to work 12+ hours or longer a day and will be asked to work every weekend, so anyone thinking about coming to work at Quicken Loans will work 60++++ hours a week. However you can make a ok living if you do not mind the hours and this type of atmosphere.
