Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I heard its add on the radio and it piqued my interest because I'm suffering of an acute hiss in my ears. After doing a little research on the Internet (where by the way I found nothing good to this product) I decided to take it since they offer a "free trial" and 100 refund if not happy.

Well, the "free trial" words on the add is merely a hook, it's the catch. When you call you are informed that you have to pay upfront something close to 80 dls, for a single bottle of pills and 180 dls for a set of three bottles. Of course they have the glibness to convince you that your best choice is to pay the three bottles plus lots of other stuff they offer you during the conversation, including a cruise trip!!! If you are not firm to say NO! you'll end up being fleeced of a large sum of money.

After something like 25 days, 5 days before the trial period expired, and noting no improvement on my symptoms whatsoever, I called to cancel and request an RMA for returning the product. The guy who answered was reluctant to take my request saying that there had been not enough time to allow results. He knew what he's doing. He play the card of probabilities and he won. I remembered to call again to cancel after the deadline was passed. Unfortunately, I did not have the precaution of noting down the name of this agent.

On this second call I spoke with another agent and she said she could do nothing since the trial was expired. After I threatened her with calling my bank, request a refund and denounce them as scammers,  she acceded to refund 80 dls. I referred my previous call but she said there was nothing registered about it.

I kept taking the pills to give them the benefit of doubt, but they are useless, a real snake oil. I don't conceive how can this kind of people profit from the suffering of all this aged man and women. What are they made off? It seems like the real god of this greedy individuals is money. By the way, it seems like the brain of this scam is a person named John Preval (agent #3960)

#2UPDATE EX-employee responds

Tue, April 06, 2010

I hate to say it but Quietus is most likely a scam. I'm going to be tactful as a former employee, and just say that it works for some people. It does not work for everybody as claimed. The problem lies with the distributor, Preval Direct. I worked there for a few weeks, and I was appalled with the lack of integrity of the senior, and especially middle managers. To be tactful, they are sleazy, two faced, whores. I wish I  could be a bit nicer, but that's the best I can do. The problem is that the sales staff is under HUGE pressure to upsell, cross sell , and especially sell the vacation "clubs", which are a total ripoff. If you do not sell a s**t load of ripoff clubs , you are toast. The only problem is the rip off clubs are pure snake oil. This company is constantly advertising for new help, and I want to kick myself for not seeing the smoke and mirrors. Do yourself a favor and avoid Quietus and never do business with Preval Direct. What makes matters worse is that this company is in my home town of Scarborough, Maine and we don't need this bad karma so close to home.
