They should have mailed you a copy a long time ago. I don't mean what you already have, but an archived record of that transaction as proof. It could have been that you were on a delayed type of billing cycle, and that money was left over, after you thought the balance was clear. Even so, they need to explain their billing cycle to rule this out as a possibility. You also need to provide proof of payment. Now I understand, you've moved and some time has gone by. What was your payment method? If it was personal checks, call the bank that you had an account with, at the time. Have them mail you an archive copy of your checking account records for the specific time frame. This might cost you some money. If it were by credit card, no problem, they'll mail any kind of information like that, possibly for free. It looks like this is something you can work out with them. If you plan on returning as a customer, you don't want to burn your bridges. Delayed billing happens all the time. We only have 12 other Reports on Qwest Communications. Review those Reports through Keyword: Qwest Communications or Category: Telephone Companies, and you might find more informtion there. Hope it works out.
