I had to attend a credible training in Rockville Maryland on August 14th and 15th of 2018.

My comapny prepaid for the hotel in the amount 308.91.

I was told that I would need to provide my personal credit card for a 100.00 incidental fee.

Unfortunately my son and I got our cards crossed and his card was charged.  So 100.00 fee turned in to a 208.91 fee.

upon returning on Wednesday August 15th my son reported that his card had a hold in the amount of 208.91 and the bank charged him a transfer fee to move funds from his savings.  I immediately contacted the hotel and after 4 painful hours i was finally able to get the hold removed.  My son went to the bank on Friday August 17th and the hold had in fact been released.

Saturday August 18th, my sons card was charged 308.91 which is the entire fee for the room?  Please note this entire ,time that my son had nothing to do with this trip or the training.  his card was used by mistake because we had gotten our debit cards switched by mistake.

I immediately contacted the hotel and asked to speak with a manager.  The half asleep gentleman stated that he was the manager, after I explained what had happened he then was no longer the manager.  My son plans to have his card replaced today, and I plan to file a warrant in debt for the money taken, pain and suffering, and loss of wages for myself and my son.

This comapny is a joke and needs to learn to train employees correctly.  I could have gone in that hotel and given them Donald Trumps credit card along with my ID and they would have accepted it.

Please be advised NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL.  They will lie to you until you throw the evidence right in their faces, and aalthough they made the first mistake right, they then turned around and charged athe entire amount again....  One would think that they would have known better after the first 4 hours I had to spend on the phone teaching them how to send a fax and what exactly it needed to say in order for my bank to release the hold on the $208.91.

I plan to get my money back and then some.  This hotel should be shut down!

- BUZZ wrong answer...thanks for playing. The first mistake was YOUR "mistake". The hotel had his card because YOU gave it to them. If your son has any action he can take it would be against you.   Because you are the one who made the mistake and fraudlently used his card for your Hotel Room.   I'm really curious as to just how you could make a mistake like this and not notice? Do you just all toss your cards onto the table at the end of the day and just take which ever one looks good?

As for the room charge, that is a separate issue you need to take up with the Hotel and your Employer. The charge may be valid and the card they put it on was also valid because it is the one YOU gave them. If your employer did truly pay for the room then the hotel did make a mistake and need to get the money back to the card it was charged on. If the employer didn't actually pay for it then you need to talk to your employer.

But if you think you qualify for any sort of "Pain and Suffering" or lost wages, that is just laughable and if you tried to take that to court the judge would have your case thrown out before the bailiff stated "All rise".
