Rainbow Resurfacing - Don't use them for resurfacing bathtub (or anything) Atlanta Georgia
Rainbow Resurfacing refinished my bathtub and my neighbor's bathtub on September 30, 2008, after they were recommended by someone else for same work performed. Both my neighbor and I paid an additional fee to have the "quick dry" glaze application which was supposed to dry in 24 hours and ready to be used after that. Both myself and my neighbor actually waited three additional days (72 hours - 96 hours) before we used our bathtubs. However, as soon as it got wet, the tubs bubbled up and felt quite uneven and rough to the touch. Rainbow Resurfacing actually came back out the following day, but only after they had contacted me prior to taking my first shower and reported that my entire bathroom flooring and tile would need to be replaced; basically they thought they would receive additional work. They provided a verbal quote of approximately $8,000 to replace the floor (and at that time they would also redo the bathtub). After that, I told them that I was not interested in replacing the floor but wanted the bathtub re-finished. After numerous voicemails requesting they call me back on my cell phone, they did leave me one message on my home phone stating they were out of the state on a project and would redo my bathtub when they returned (the voicemail was left sometime at the end of October, 2008). That was the last time they contacted me in any way and since then both myself and my neighbor have reached out to them via their cell phone(s) and work phones to no avail.
