I just want to start this off by apologizing for the work that I do. I am looking every single day for a new job. I had no idea going into this that it is what it is. They don't tell you that. Believe me, they tell us what they tell you. It's an UNBELIEVABLE deal. You don't have to sell a d**n thing because it sells itself. It is a ridiculous value. It's Ramada. It's a name you can trust. I could go on for hours, but I won't. I do have a few quick things to point out: 1) The majority of the people that work there have no clue. Seriously. They honestly believe what they're telling you. I realize it's hard, but please be nice to them. These are not con artists. These are people who dearly need the job they are working. They are given an hour of training every single day, talking them out of any rational thought they might have had regarding the craziness of this offer or the way we go about doing it. 2) Don't just hang up, especially if you're just picking up the phone and hanging up. We are not allowed to remove you from the pile unless the person who TOOK THE SURVEY (not the spouse) specifies that he/she is not interested. Even if all you do is say, "NOT INTERESTED," you have to do SOMETHING or you'll keep getting the calls. 3) The Consumer Act provides you with something called a, "Cooling Off Period." Basically, this means you have 10 days after the date you purchased something over the phone to evaluate if it's something you actually want it. They MUST give you a refund in those 10 days. Be aware of this and mention it when you ask for you refund. 4) Also mention Rip-Off Report. That does work. 5) If they are unable to provide you with a copy of the "voice recorded receipt" they talk about so much, make a very big deal about that. They can get in a LOT of legal trouble. 6) Don't believe for a second that Ramada is unaware of what's going on. They are perfectly aware of it. It's a franchise operation. They have given this company full authorization to use their name. The Ramada in Orlando is billed as the 1000th Ramada hotel built. They may claim they know nothing about it, but they do and they don't care. There is no suit against RPR to remove Ramda's name. That's a rumor. Either way, people will still continue using Ramada hotels and Teleglobe is putting money in the pockets of the parent company.

So after having a difficult time dealing with these folk over the phone, I went and completed the complaint form on the Dept of Agriculture and Consumer Services of Florida website. I made sure to state which sections of the Florida Statutes in Chapiter 559. I believe this is what got my remaining refund, as 4 days later it showed up on my credit Card. I will be following up with ensuring my account is cancled, all my data is deleted and ensuring they cant tak money out of my credit card later on.
