I've read about a lot of the scams with this company but I had already bought the package two years ago. Back then I got pregnant and the baby was born sick so my time expired. I tried to get a refund but they apologized about my situation and offered me an extension. I paid an extra $200.00 for that.

Later, due to financial problems, I needed to cancel the trip, also my mother told me she had stayed at Ramada and the room was terrible, sheets not changed, etc.

I called them this morning and talked to a manager, I believe her name was Charlene. I told her I needed a refund. She told me the money was nonrefundable. I told her I really didn't want to go at all since I recently found out about a lot of complaints with the company and could not afford expenses from Michigan to Florida on a trip that would probably be lousy. She began raising her voice. I told her I did not call to argue. She still kept raising her voice. Finally I said, "Ma'am this trip is listed as a scam on the internet and I just don't want anything to do with it." I thought she'd faint. She even said she thinks a lot of people are just mad at Florida because they felt the president stole the election through them, and felt a lot of other things would be messed up there as well. I asked one more time for the address to the company to write the president of Ramada. She then told me all her stays at Ramada had been blissful. Again, please, the addresss. She told me the computers were down and that she could no longer help me. She said she'd call me back later and said "BYE!" in a very rude manner. That was 5 hours ago. If it weren't for the address printed here I still would not be able to write that letter.

I paid for one adult and an extension fee but I'm not paying anymore to to the company. To say the least, I was treated badly over the phone. I also found out when I was pregnant that the airfare was not included like they said it was before I actually purchased it.

I'm going to write the company's president and see what happens. I hope you can help me get my money back too. This is terrible. Can't some hotshot reporter tell people about this to stop Ramada's list of victims from growing? I mean, most places give you your money back except for a small portion. What's their problem?

Save this website for any questions you may have in the future. It is a real good one. I believe you should nail these turkeys. It has gone on too long. Besides being a marketing scam, they make it sound like they are affiliated with the Ramada Hotel chain and the Carnival Cruise Line companies. They are not part of either. This is simply misrepresentation. Besides contacting the attourney general, the better business bureau, and your local television station; I think you should also contact Ramada and Carnival. If none of that pans out, pay a few hundred bucks and hire someone to break some arms (at least some fingers). They're in Florida. Good luck and do not give up.
