I was checking on the internet about different types of cruises and must have taken a survey. A couple of days later I get a call from Celebration Cruise Lines that states "Ive won a cruise to the Bahamas", I was flabbergasted by what I heard and they said I must have filled out a survey for them. I don't remember doing that.
I was told by Sharon Butchen a operator that I won a 3 day 2 night cruise to the Bahamas which is in South Florida. I would have to make arrangements to fly down or drive down to get to it though.
After I talked with her she said, let me get my supervisor to make sure we have and have given you all information. The supervisors name is Larry Samet. They gave me a reservation number and proceeded to tell me the cost of the package. I told them "I thought I won the trip", and they proceeded to tell me that this charge was for the package" which meant the other days off the ship in a hotel, seeing a resort they want to sell and for the governmental portal taxes that wasn't included. All this was not told to me.
After all was said and done I ended up having to shell our $974.00. I think it was a misrepresentation of that business and they are ripping people off. I wasn't told about the bunk beds, I wasn't told about the tips, taxes, gratuties, oil charges that might be added.
