RAMADA PLAZA RESORTS ripoff WE SAVED FOR OVER A YEAR TO TAKE THIS TRIP WE DID NOT TAKE THE CRUISE BECAUSE THE SHIP DID NOT SAIL THE HOTEL WAS NOTHING LIKE THE PICTURES ON THE INTERNET THE WHOLE TRIP WAS NOTHING BUT A BIG RIPOFF WE NEED TO KNOW HOW TO GET OUR MONEY REFUNDED FORT LAUDERDALE Florida
My children gave us this trip as a christmas gift last year. We saved all year for this. When we arrived in fort lauderdale and went to pick up our free rental car it cost us $122.00. We got to the hotel to find our up graded ocean view room was across the highway. After complaining and getting someone from ramada plaza resorts to speak to they moved us the next day.
Everyone we spoke to was very dissatisfied with the hotel. After a day of getting lost to go take their tour we were really wore out. The next day we head out to take our cruise which we were really looking forward to. After setting in port for five hours we were told the ship would not be sailing the did not ask us if we had a place to stay .
We called the ramada plaza resort and they put us up for the night. I really can't explain all the hassels that we encountered. It was the worse vacation ever. It was a living hell.
Their response is that they will refund our $99.00 upgrade and reschedule a two day cruise that is fine but who is going to pay our airfare and travaling expenses and hotel. I think it is sad that these people can
just sweep this under the rug and get away with it.
