Well, Let me just say that I am asking for help in this matter. I too was plaqued. I recieved the mailer that looked like a certified mailing. I couldn't come up with the total amount of $698 so they did a payment plan instead. Well, now it is about 9-10 months later and i have only paid the initial $698 deposit and I want my money back. I have called and got the run around. and I called back and the girl that answered recognized me from this morning; she tried to be nice and all even while I was insisting to speak to a manager. I was transfered to a customer care representative by the name of Virginia Lockett. She informed me that the initial deposit was nonrefundable.

Please someone help. I really would like to get this money back. Actually, have my credit card credited. I have record of every transaction since it is my bank card. The bad part is that my boyfriend has actually been the one paying for this and I really feel bad if I can't get it back. I haven't gone on any trips nor scheduled any. I haven't really even finished giving them every dime they plan on taking. I guess I'm just another one that would have been eaten alive by these anacondas if I wouldn't have found this site. Any help is greatly appreciated in this matter. Thanks to all that have come forward and shared your experiences. Good luck to all that haven't and are scared or too broke to do anything. And Pass the word around and maybe we can do something about this. In the mean time I want my money back.

call your credit card company, cancel your credit card

If you still owe money and they are still taking money out of your account, call your credit card company, cancel your credit card and get a new card and tell them not to accept any requests by Ramada Plaza Resorts to credit the new account. Also, go back three or so pages in the rip-off report. Look at 6/6/03 and the entry from Stanhope New Jersey for ways to get your money back. Good Luck.

Thanks Jacqueline :o) Yes, I actually went on the hell trip - and came back determined and angry to get back the money I wasted! I sent a lengthy ripoff report (which is posted on this site) to my Attny General Richard Blumenthal and the Commissioner of the Florida Department of Consumer Services Mr Charles H Bronson and, of course, the Ramada Plaza Resorts. I did get $1200back!!! They refunded me the initial trip charges of $598 per person. I am thrilled and wanted to share the information with you and hopefully you can have the same luck I did. AND - I got this all done within a MONTH from returning from this so-called "vacation"! There was a Report posted on August 6, of this year, which has the information you need. Type http://www.ripoffreport.com/view.asp?id=65283 or you can enter Keyword: Ramada Plaza Resorts or Category: Travel Companies. The Rebuttal title for the Report is: "Here's what worked for me!", submitted by Michele. I believe she also has an independent Report, unfortunately can't remember the title. Anyway, I'm optimistic that you will get your refund. If not, get back to us, but I think you should be okay.
