Ramada Resorts Vacations ripoff FT Lauderdale Florida
I purchased a vacation from mail solicitation. I called and was never told about any type of time share, terms and conditions, $299 per person charge,only recieving a standard hotel room, bait and switch of boat procedures. I was told it was $698 per person and I had to pay now or it would go up.I was unsure but I bought 1 ticket and said I would purchase the second required ticket after things were sent in the mail. I read the terms and conditions mailed out several weeks later and did not purchase a second ticket.
I tried to get my money back and was told that the required amount of time had passed to get a refund. I spoke with Christina and told her I did not get the info in the mail until after the required time. That I felt this was a scam she said tough we do not give refunds I can try to sell the ticket. I told her I did not sign any form and demanded my money returned. She got very rude and said we have you on tape you will get no refund even if you call your credit card company. I recently read that this is a big scam on the Rip Off Report site. I am in dispute with my credit card company to get this resolved.
