This report is to complain about Rapinda Brand Sh*tting Sand, a product sold through its North American subsidiary "In Hot Water." I have purchased products from this company before (Faggotini) and been very happy with the item as described. However, the company service I received this time was - to the say the least - substandard by Western expectations and the product was disasterously poor in quality.
First, it took 117 days for my order of 50 lbs. of sand to arrive at my doorstep in Colorado from its factory in India. When I called Rapinda Brands to complain about the delays, I received some nonsense from a guy named Rapesh saying that my package was loaded onto a donkey for the journey to the United States. However, he claimed that Rapinda Brands used 17 donkeys before they were able to locate one that could make the transoceanic swim to Los Angeles and complete the shipment - allegedly the 16 previous donkeys all drowned after being beaten by employees into the surf. The furthest one among the 16 unsuccessful pack animals only made it 250 yards before going under the waves. Rapesh said the beaches around Dakkabacapoosmell became littered with rotting donkey carcasses, and only served to provide the scantest of cover for people using the beach as an outhouse.
Next, the exhausted donkey with my 50 lbs. sack duct taped to its back was quarantined by U.S. Customs for 2 weeks per protocol, further delaying my order. Because it came from India, the poor animal was isolated for a further 7 days as it was littered with additional parasites no doubt brought on by the diet it was fed in India.
Third, the sand itself: this is a used product! When I opened the bag, my nostrils were instantly assaulted with the smell of feces laden with odors of curry and digested butter chicken. Again, I complained to Rapesh; however, it took at least 90 seconds to get him with the program because he thought I was complaining about some virus issue with my Gateway computer (I am a Dell person, by the way). When he finally got oriented with my complaint, he told me to stop applying my "white privilege quality standards" to the product and that their sh*tting sand passed all quality measures as codified by the Indian Bureau of Sands, Rocks and Funeral Pyres.
Finally, the weight of the product I got. This is not 50 pounds - it came in at 20 kilograms. That is 44 pounds! I want the 6 missing pounds I paid for! Again, I called the number on the invoice and - again - I got Rapesh (at least he has now smartened up - he answered this time saying "Gateway Computer customer support and Rapinda quality products. This is Rapesh. How may I help you?") (Add. note - "Quality products"? Ha!). When I said I wanted my 6 missing pounds Rapesh said "Get with world rest of, pale face! Metric system!" and hung up on me.
Realizing that I would get nowhere with the company in India, I called the brand's North American representatives at In hot Water - Gino B. and Aaron B. I was only able to reach Gino. Aaron was allegedly cowering in a corner in "Brooklyn" (sure looks like Delaware to me) with a can of Lysol spraying the air randomly attacking COVID viruses that only he could see. When I aired my complaints to Gino, he was silent on the other end of the phone for at least 30 seconds, and I could hear his leg nervously bouncing on the floor and banging the underside of a desk. Gino finally said that he would like to provide me with a refund but that he had already gambled away my money on camel - child jockey races in Dubai as that was the only sports betting currently going on in the world.
In summary, Rapinda Brand Sh*tting Sand is a scam product. They claim it will help keep you healthy in these questionable times. However, using this product will no doubt make you sicker than a dog. Buyer beware!
