I am writing in reference to a MP3 player(RD2762). I had the unit for 5 months then stopped working, so i followed the routine of calling and then sending in the unit & all items. Even got the tracking number from the shipping company so it could be traced. The employees couldn't locate the unit & said they didn't get it, i advised them on the date & time of receiving it & after 3 calls they FOUND IT. I then waited on the unit to be returned & after 2 weeks was told that it was out of stock & would have to wait. After calling back several times was advised a upgraded model would be sent since that unit was nolonger available, 2 weeks went by and still no unit. During this time I requested a refund check to be mailed (from 1-866-465-7157) & was told that it wasn't the policy of RCA/Thomson to send check back. On the 21st business day, i was told they could issue a check but it would take 8-10 weeks for that to be recieved from the buy back office.
Employees and Managers are not able to complete any requests & i now have to wait for a call from the buy back office, i'm on week 2 of that. I have received no calls & no check. Managers can take up to 2 hours or 15 continous calls to get a hold of. GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!
