Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I purchased an RCI travel package cost $1999 (with a $199 deposit and $100 monthly payment of $100 for 18 months and was told that I had 3 years to use the certificates). With each travel package, you get a seven-day cruise for 2 and 1week stay at a resort for 2 people.  Unfortunately, I missed the reservation cut off by 1 day to make the reservations/redeem the certificates (even though I was told that the certicates were good until April 27, 2019) and now RCI or ICE wants me to pay an additional $1300 to upgrade or $599 per cruise certificate and $399 for a resort certificate to extend them for another 6 months!

THIS is ourageous as I have already paid for 3 certificates that I no longer can use and RCI wants me to pay more money!!! RCI travel will not refund your money plus if you do not use the packages within two years you lose the certificate.  RCI did offer to buy back the resort package $1300 each but they make you buy another package for $3400.

Plus it is not a refund it is money that they hold onto that you can use for hotel or airfare.  When you do go to use the certificate they tax on a fees.  They advertise it as a free seven week resort but it’s not. I want to inform people to watch out for the RCI travel packages.  RCI travel packages take your money.  You do not get the benefit that they claim.

I was transferred to several different departments in several US & international location and finally, the unhelpful, unfriendly RCI Cruise Centertificat customer service rep Jose Garcia from Mexico City was unable to track my recent calls or my original calls back in Oct 2017 so it's basically my words against theirs. So infuriating and is this even legal in the state of California to buy certificates that you can't use since there's a law that states gift certificates bought cannot be expired?
