Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
We are very unsatisfied with Dianne Allen and her Broker Blake Priest as they both have refused to release us from a contract we signed with them in November. Dianne Allen has not been working for us to our satisfaction. In fact we have worked for her, she asked me to contact her competitor, Assist to Sell, to find what their fees we so that she could compete with them for business. I had to call her to suggest that she put out flyers to advertise our home.

Ms. Allen asked that we call her when the house was shown even though she knew that this was an inconvenience to us. As anxious buyers we found ourselves manipulated into doing her job. When we became tired of doing her job, and asked that the listing be pulled..she and her broker REFUSED!! Ms. Allen misinformed us about the actual value of our home and had us list our house for almost $15,000.00 above the appraised value to cover her commission. The list goes on and on and on!

We tried to reason with her by requesting that she release us from our contract but she is convinced that she has put too much time and money into the sale of our home. We first asked for a release from her at the end of November, she said that she would work things out with us which is when she asked that I call her competitor "Assist 2 Sell" She then agreed to accept the same terms that Assist 2 Sell was offering. We most recently asked to be released from our listing a 2nd time because we were not satisfied and feel we were doing HER work!

To put it kindly Ms. Allen is a manipulator and a liar and insists that since we listed our house last year and pulled the listing because we decided not to move, that we somehow now OWE her something. It's worse than doing business with the Mafia or a loan shark. Norman Bates could sell a hotel better more compassionately than Ms. Allen can sell a house!!! Our first impression of Ms. Allen was a good one. We thought she was so kind, sweet and loving..like "Aunt Bee" in the Andy Griffith sitcom...but instead found out that when you mess with her stinger (money) she becomes a killer bee!!

Ms. Allen's broker Mr. Priest is also convinced that Ms. Allen has worked very hard for us and insists that the only alternative we have is to either change from Ms. Allen to another Realtor within his organization, or reimburse Ms. Allen for her advertising fees. However, Mr. Priest assured us that Ms. Allen is the BEST Realtor he has so our question is "why should we opt to change to another Realtor within his organization if we have his BEST working for us.?? My husband and I both feel as if this alternative is first of all in violation to what Ms. Allen promised us which was to release us from the contract if for ANY reason we were not satisfied and secondly It is a form of manipulation and extortion to FORCE us to sell our home with a Realtor we are NOT happy with. Since Ms. Allen uses her husband Wayne Allen, another Realtor, to take pictures of the home for advertising etc., there is no equitable way of knowing how much they actually spent on advertising!

Let me reiterate that Dianne Allen assured us that if we were not happy with her services for ANY reason that we were not obligated to keep the listing...and now she is FORCING us to keep a listing with her that we DO NOT WANT which may mean forclosure for us!! the worst part is we trusted her with how home and with our hearts..we opened our lives up to her in every intimate way and now feel emotionally assaulted and violated!

He rented my wife and I a condo in South Ogden on a month-to-month basis, then kept deposit saying we didn't stay 6 months. He even charged us for some "Free Days" he let us stay after the fact to justify keeping our deposit...Tenants beware!
