So I signed up for realtor.com in April 2016. Signed up for the leads generation, costing me $125 for one zip code. When I first signed up, the Sales rep told me that I would be charged $125 monthly, I asked if I was obligated to stay with them for any certain length of time, he replied no, you can cancel at any time. I explained to him that I was a new full time realtor without a second income. So I did not want to be obligated to Pay for something for a long length of time if it wasn't producing any leads. He reassured me once again that NO theirs no obligation and I could cancel at any time. So after giving him my credit card info and submitting my first payment he sent me a conformation email. When I opened this email, I was confused and scared that it had a cancelation timeline, otherwise I wouldn't be able to cancel. And have to pay for 12 months. The cancelation time line was three days after signing up. I immediately called back my rep to ask him what this was about. Of course he didn't answer and called me back the next day. I told him if I can't cancel at any time, then I want to cancel now (within my 3 day) so I'm not obligated to pay for a whole year. He laughed and reassured me once again that i am being too paranoid about this and that I haven't signed anything and that I would never have any problem at all canceling at any time. And that they just say that in the email because they would prefer people to cancel within the 3 days because that's when you can get a refund for the month. I said ok and kept the service.

So a month goes by and I only got one lead, I wanted to cancel and try a different approach to marketing. I called to cancel and they told me that I couldnt because I'm past the 3 day cancelation time!!!!! WHAT!? I told the guy that my Rep had told me I could cancel at any time!! He began to tell me that they had recorded that I called back to cancel the second day and that I must have known that I had to cancel within the first three days. I was livid! I told him yes, that's the REASON I called to cancel the first time!! Anyways long story short the guy called me a liar ?? And told me that I can't cancel, I ended up blocking the transaction with my bank account. I called my lawyer and told him what was going on, we called realtor.com back to inform them that I haven't signed Anything so they can't hold me liable for this. They still have me signed up for this stupid crap- which I've only gotten one lead from and the person seems fake. Won't ever answer they're phone or emails. It's a local phone number and I can't see a real person not answering after ten phone calls and about 6 emails. Any normal person would want them to stop calling or answer to say they have already got a realtor!! Also my broker gave me two of his leads for this reason as well, he's given up trying to call these fake leads and said I could try if I wanted. Same thing!!! No reply, no answer! This site is a huge scam and waste of money! Please beware and don't do it!! Please take my advice, I don't want anyone else getting into some bs like I did!
