I inquired about their help in obtaining a birth certificate quickly for my grandfather from Ireland.  Mary Oliver told me they could do that and instructed me to purchase a 10 hour package and they would get the birth certificate.  

I was clear and specific that the only reason I would sign up and work with them was to get a copy of the birth document with a quick turnaround. 

If I knew they could not locate and send a physical copy to me of my Grandfathers birth certificate with a 2 week period, I would never have signed up with them.  There was no other reason to hire them.

She deceived me into believing they could get the document for me with some special knowledge or access that I did not have.

As I said... I asked if they could "GET" the birth certificate for me.  THat is the only reason I hired them. I thought they had some in side track to get it quickly.  I knew WHERE to get it.  I just needed it very quickly, and because of the time constraint I asked if they could get it for me by that date.  I was told YES - just purchase the "10hr package".   I sent a note to the person who contacted me that said if they could definitely get the document for me before that date than I was in!  I was told they could. They did NOT.  

I was sent a story report on some family that isn't mine - and NO BIRTH CERTIFICATE.  They gave me an address (which I already knew) to obtain the birth certificate myself - Why would I have hired them if I could get it myself!?!?  So they gave me nothing.  They lied. They failed to provide the services I hired them for, and they failed to produce the document I needed in time for the date that I needed to have it!

Rosemarie is absolutely correct. She hired us to find a “Birth Certificate”, and that is what we did. We found the location of the exact certificate she was searching for and provided instructions on how to retrieve it.

The problem is the archive that contained the certificate was closed due to COVID-19 but was rescheduling to re-opening in a few weeks. So, the closure of the office, due to COVID-19, was out of our control and Rosemarie has decided to blame us.

We were hired by Rosemarie to find a “Birth Certificate”… AND that is exactly what we found for her.

Rosemarie, we are very sorry; we wanted to fully satisfy your needs; but we were unable to fulfill.
