Please don't make the same mistake we made.  We hired Red Hawk Security to install security cameras and recording because we were robbed and were left in a very volnerable state which they took advantage of.  We explained the situation and emergency having multiple agencies involved in the investigation.  We explained that time was of the essence.  

They started the job at which point we explained that we were not pleased with the placement of the cameras.  They took advantage of the fact that we were in New York while they were installing in Florida.  They left too many areas without proper surveillance.  

We brought this to their attention immediately.  They politely stated "Let us finish the job, we can always move the cameras at another time if needed." Being that they were supposedly the experts and the fact that they were so polite and comforting, salesmen, that we felt satisfied with their statement.  

Part 2:  THeir true colors were seen.  Part of doing business is not just getting the job, it's the customer service that comes afterward.  After they left the house "completed" with the cameras in the same place with some cameras inside the lanai, facing the interior of the home.  We asked about the movement and were promised the world.  They said they would come back tomorrow because it had gotten too late.  As you probably figured, tomorrow never came.

 At one point the cameras went out and we couldn't view the house for many days.  Knowing the situation we were going through, the authorities in addition to us were calling and calling pleading to get the camera back up and running.  With no return calls.  Finally after getting a call, we also got a million excuses.  We then became the bad guys and the arrogance and lack of customer service began.  THey were very arrogant, even having the nerve to now ask us to pay for them to come back and finish the job they left unfished.  

When we told them we would let everyone know about how they do business, they simply shrugged it off and didn't care.  THis went on for months, with no resolution, lies and excuses and no intention of ever coming back.  In their minds they felt they had been paid in full so why would they want to go back.  

They were paid in full thousands and now we had to go and get estimates by other companies to move the cameras that were installed incorrectly.  We then uncovered that everything was installed sub par at best, we found that we had been charged more the double of what the job should have cost.  The wiring was done wrong and the equipment would only last us a year if we are lucky.  In order to get someone to touch the work to correct the job would cost just as much as it would to simply redo the job.  THis was three different companies who said the same thing.

So, we were ripped off.  We build and rent many homes and we have used hundreds of contractors.  Out of all the contractore we have used, we know that you're going to find some contractors that just don't do their jobs and you'll find some that are exceptional.   The ones that didn't do their job and we've been forced to take to court, we have always won and never lost a case.  We are very patient, diligent and understanding.  We always give them way more than enough rope to hang themselves.  Usually we can sniff out the bad ones from the beginning.  But this company is a scam, they come off as humble, caring, understanding and are really wolves in sheep's clothing.  

Knowing the situation we were in and all the agencies involved, knowing how scared the family was and being that they are a security srveillance company, this is were they should have shined. What a huge disappointment.  Please be warned!  You will get ripped off, you will get sub-par work at best and you will never get return service or a warranty.  The most you'll get is rudeness, arogance and they will laugh in your face as they did in ours.  

Lastly, I teach customer service and have over 400 employees under me.  I am an administrator for over 20 years and could never unserstand why one would resist when it's so much easier to give good customer service.  But I guess that's why we have to do or due diligence and homework to get these scam companies exposed and help the good companies to excell.   I have a string of text showing the chain of events.  If you would like to see them or ask me about this company please feel free to contact me through ripoff report.
