Decided on Thursday of last week (5/12/11) to order an accessory for my Samsung Galaxy Tab.  Did a random google search to see who had the lowest prices, and was surprised to find an e-tailer in my state that carried the item, at a "better than most" price..

Completely failed to research the company, and now in every way regret dealing with them.

Been over a week, order status still remains the same, "awaiting fulfillment," constant calls to their 800 number at all hours of day and night get me an immediate recorded message stating their office is closed with their office hours listed..  (Of course no matter what time you call you get this message.)  Have sent 5 emails to them over the past week, all of which have gone unanswered.

Sure enough they billed my credit card the day after my sale was placed, but have yet to have any correspondence from them what so ever.

Avoid this company at all cost...  www.redtagcellular.com or HD Discounts.  They are either completely a scam, or a terribly run business!

Stick with the names you know...  Not worth supporting the "little, local guys," in the end you always end up paying more...

Finally received an email from them...

HD Discounts21348 Alberta StOneida, TN 37841 This email/letter is intended to be used a legal document. HD Discounts which owns and operates redtagcellular.com is not going to be able to complete the order you have placed with us. Now this situation arose from a error with our merchant account that processes our credit cards for us. The account has been put on hold and a reserve was created; Now we do not have access to the system that processes incoming and outgoing transactions, nor does HD Discounts keep a copy or house and credit card information so it is making it hard to process a standard refund. Now we will submit a list to our merchant account with your order information, but a time frame is not clear on how quick a refund will be issued. So we here at HD Discounts recommend that you file a dispute with your Credit Card Company or card issuing financial institution to expedite the return of funds that have been place on hold with our merchant account. A full copy of this email/letter will sent off via the United States Post Service in the next few business days, But this email/letter can be printed out to supply proof of the dissolution to your financial institution as proof that we are not able to complete your order, or able to issue a standard refund. Thank you,Heather MooreHD Discounts
