I placed an order on September 28, 2010 and received a payment confirmation email. When I did not receive a shipping confirmation I emailed them to see why it had not shipped. The site says that there is a 2-7 day processing time. This was after that time - I did not receive a reply even after the promised 48-hours according to the website. 


On October 20th I emailed them asking if they were still in business since I had received to reply to my email. They emailed back the same day saying that my order was shipping that day and that I would receive another email from PayPal with a tracking number. Since the order was placed with 2-day shipping, I should have received the package Friday or Saturday at the latest. 


I did not receive an email from PayPal or my order, so I emailed them Monday, October 25 and have not received a reply. I used a store credit from a previous order where some of the livestock had died - I had no problem that time and they issued a store credit as a promo code immediately. I am concerned now that I will lose the store credit that I tried to use on Sept. 28 since I will be disputing the charge to my credit card.


Order total: $101.94

Store Credit used was $58.83 and $43.11 was charged to my credit card.

On Nov. 2nd I received another email saying my order had shipped. This had happened once before with no tracking email from PayPal and no shipment so I assumed that it had not shipped again since I did not receive a tracking email from PayPal. I used 2-day shipping so my order should have arrived on Thursday if they shipped it. Friday night I come home (later, since I wasn't expecting anything at this point) and find my package in the cold on my porch. I immediately acclimated the livestock and only ended up losing a coral and 1 urchin. This was surprising since the water was so cold and there was no heat pack! I think everything would have made it had it been shipped within the 7-day period after I ordered on September 28th, but at this point I am just glad I got anything since there had been no response and I used a store credit to pay for half the order. They are now responding to my emails and gave me a store credit right away when I confirmed the 2 items were dead. I am now trying to get a refund instead since it will be awhile until I order from them again if I order from them at all. I still have no explanation from them for the delay / lack of response.
