the company reimage was associated with a Microsoft website for repairing virus problems. When I purchased it, it did not function at all, it did not complete its scan and fix anything. When I tried to get a refund they tried to get me to use a service where they log into my computer remotely.
I was not interested in letting them have access to my computer so I said refund please. I have done that in the past with another "system repair service" and it turned out to be a form of blackmail. After I refused to pay the $175 after they logged off my system had new problems which I had difficulty removing. Reimage never responded to several requests for a refund. The phone support gave me an email address to send the request for a refund. The email address did not exist when I sent to it. The software was running as a MS service and continued to tell me there were problems it wanted to fix. When I let it do so once my system became instable after it ran this time to completion. I had to restore a Microsoft checkpoint to regain access to the internet which it had blocked. THis is a form of blackmail.
