Hello, My name is Joe I am a 19 year old high school student who went to toyota of lewisville on june 15, 2008, my parents and i traded in my 1978 Chevrolet C10 silverado pickup truck in on a 2008 Toyota Corolla CE with about 4100 miles on it. when i arrived two salemen approached mytruck and began asking me what i was looking to trade in my truck for, i said that my mother and father were on there way and that i did not need any help, the men persisted until i went over to my mother who had just gotten out of the car with my father, they drove another vehicle,

then after we had entered the building my parents asked to speak with wendell byrd, the online salesman who was going to show me a brand new yaris, we waited about ten minutes and one of Mr. Byrd's colleagues, Chris Garcia said he would help us. while we were waiting before Mr. Garcia introduced himself, my mother pointed out to me a car in the ad posted a 2008 Corolla, the car depicted was a blue S model, then Chris escorted us to the Blue Corolla, it was actually a blue CE, with an aftermarket sunroof an a damaged front bumper.

i enetred the vehicle and started it, cold ac, which my truck did not even have, a sunroof, cd player, moonroof by Webasto, and power steering. after we looked at the yaris which was too small for me i inquired about the bumper, Chris assured us that the bumper was safe, and that the car's SRS airbags were not deployed. we got a carfaxreport and the car seemed clean. so we agreed that i wanted that car. at first, my parents wanted to put me on the note to build up my credit, chris said afterchecking that if i was placed on the note that we would be charged 8.9% interest, then as my dad and i were waiting for a finance manager, chris said we could place me as the cosigner and lower the interest rate to 6.9%, we agreed.

then in the finance office with dwayne davis, Davis raised the interest to 8.9 and then overcharged us on the total price of the car. it was marked 12,990 i believe, and it should have only come out as about 14,990 maybe a few hundred more, but Dwayne charged us over $16,000 for the car, my when my dad mentioned the mistakes, dwayne made exscuses. then after i got home a few weeks later, we discovered toyota of lewisvilehad tried to sell the loan, and cancel my roadside assistance plan to give my dad and i 245 dollars, the loan is nowat texans credit union who has been great to us, but when my dad tried to cantact Davis about a letter staing that my titanium travel plan was canceled, he was furious.

when he tried to contact davis, davis did not return any of his calls for a few days. then when my dad spoke with the manager of the dealership, the manager blamed my father and i for the mistakes and said my dad and i were foolish to sing the papers and when my dad asked if the manager was calling us fools the man said no but my dad said that that was indeed what the manager meant, and to just agree and we will never shop trhere again, them manager only avoided my dad.

later when i took the car in to get my plates, the parts and service department literally avoided me and people walked away from me when they were supposedto help me. then on January 2, 2009, i raised the car on jack stands as i am an automotive technology student at Dale jackson career center, i raised the car how my teacher Tony Marino had taught me and placed it on jack stands. the bumper support which is solid steel normally 2-3 inches thick, is crushed in on the passenger side and should have caused my airbags to deploy, not so, the metal piece is rusted and i believe i should be able see at least for the airbag sensors on the bumper, they are not at all visable,

i am concerned they airbags my not ork properly and want Toyota of lewisville to know how sickening it is to do this to someone of my age, i am working hard enough as a cashier at Tom Thumb on Justin road in Flower Mound and i have noextra money to fix my car and i want everyone to know what rotten people work for this dealership i know how to treat customers, i will never and have never treated my customers in this manner. SHAME ON YOU TOYOTA OF LEWISVILLE! YOU ARE ROTTEN CROOKS!

Please read Lindsay's 12-31-2008 complaint at the consumeraffairs website!!! Simply 'Google' this- ENGINE SLUDGE, and go to the consumeraffairs website about Toyota Engine Problems! Lindsay stated that 'CHEAP OVERSIZED RINGS' were used in Celicas from 2000 to 2002, and that's why the engines are BREAKING DOWN, SLUDGING, & BURNING MASSIVE AMOUNTS OF OIL! This is FURTHER PROOF of Toyota's neglect to keep QUALITY as their focus! Toyota & McDonald's are exactly alike! They are all about QUANTITY, rather than QUALITY! Terrible vehicles & terrible food that'll destroy your HEALTH! WELCOME TO AMERICA- LAND OF SLUDGING TOYOTAS & LAND OF THE LARDOS! I'm Karl, and I approve this Update! P.S. ENGINE SLUDGE, and go to the consumeraffairs website about Toyota Engine Problems and click on 'Airbags' and read those complaints ASAP!!!! You stated in your Ripoff Report, in the 6th paragraph- QUOTE: 'the metal piece is rusted'. This could be proof that your car was a FLOOD CAR. Toyota Dealerships are notorious for buying FLOOD CARS and placing them on their used car lots and selling them to unsuspecting customers! Have it checked out by someone ASAP!!!! Another tactic that Toyota Dealerships use to DECEIVE customers is to purchase vehicles with SLIGHT HAIL DAMAGE! Many customers can't tell that the car has slight hail damage until after the sale is complete! Some Dealers actually display these vehicles after the sun goes down so the hail damage is not NOTICEABLE to the customer as the sale is taking place! TOYOTA DEALERSHIPS have some of the most UNETHICAL people working as Sales Managers, General Sales Managers, & even General Managers! These people are a direct reflection of our entire corporate system in America! It's the reason our country is COLLAPSING! Even some of our politicians are like these Toyota Managers! CORRUPT, DECEPTIVE, MANIPULATIVE, GREEDY.....It can't be denied! Simply spread your story ALL OVER THE WEB and direct everyone you know to this website! Also direct EVERYONE with a Toyota to the consumeraffairs website that was mentioned above. Have them read about all the Toyota owners who have these- (SLUDGING ENGINES & DEFECTIVE AIRBAGS, etc.) ANYONE with a TOYOTA could be in jeopardy if they are in an accident and their AIRBAGS DO NOT DEPLOY, wouldn't you agree? That goal is to make MONEY! Most of them do it by DECEPTION & MANIPULATION. Make a call to the Bank that received your paperwork from the Dealership too!!! That paperwork COULD be different from your copies!!!! If this is so, then you can file a LAWSUIT against them & you will WIN! You see, there are Toyota dealers that not only DECEIVE their customers, but they also DECEIVE the Banks!!! That's a CRIME!
